This works really well in twos, much harder to set up in threes... but overall its still gimicky and not what I want the Mage class to be about. Hopefully they 'fix' it when they balance mages before Tuesday!

I believe honor and chests from bg will stay the same. Any conquest points that were accumulated before the hot fix to ashran are going to be converted to honor so I'm assuming that they won't wipe honor.

Alliance on Darkspear, waited hours upon hours for Poundfist to spawn in Gorgrond the other day but some selfish jerks dps'd him down and we all missed out on the mount. For those of you who don't know who Poundfist is, it's a very rare mob that spawns once every 50-96 hours and drops a cool mount.

That's something that amuses me...that folks will wait hours upon hours for a chance at a rare spawn to maybe spawn...but cry bloody murder if the server is down for a couple of hours. I just don't get it, but it often amuses.
Not to say you specifically do this, Canuck-Hater, it's just that your post provided me with the 'oh yeah' moment.
Ran MC last night. After we booted a couple trolls and wiped 6 times on the Core Hounds, it was pretty painless. I got that sweet ass 640 ilvl flaming crown that looks pretty badass.
I think LFR opens tomorrow, so looking forward to that.
I can't even run heroics yet Not getting any Chest/Shoulder or Weapon luck to get my ilvl up. I don't even know if I'm going to be able to run MC in time before the Core Hound mount is gone. Is there a hard date on when that ends?
This is correct, we are raiding Thursday hoping to blow through normal and start on heroic next week. That's as hardcore as I get no Mythic raiding here.

Also don't forget to start collecting your Seals of Tempered Fate from the peninsula in Ashran tomorrow (The bonus roll tokens). Max 3 per week and 10 total. Many ways to buy them Gold, Garrison Resources, Honor, Apexis Crystals and of course with the level 3 warmill the free one.
The price goes up if you use the same currency to buy each one for example with gold.
1st - 500G
2nd - 1500G
3rd - 3000G
So I suggest using 3 different methods for purchase, I will be using 500G, 500 Honor and 1000 apexis crystals.

These Seals of Tempered Fate give you a higher chance at better gear when raiding? Or how does it work?
That is sweet that I have something to spend my honor on after I max my gear out in a day.
