Great start but they should be up by a lot more.

Shore up leaving guys wide open and they should be able to easily hold off the Ti-Cats.

Stamps only made a couple of mistakes on defense so it is good. Unfortunately one of the mistake that gave Hamilton a TD.

Good halftime show. I've always like Imagine Dragons but I'm surprised at how good a live show they do.

This coaching staff has shown time and time again why they are amazing and that is with adjustments after the half.

First half over. Stampeders 17 Hamilton 7.

OFFENSE :

I thought Stamps played a good first half. Jon Cornish is not a factor yet but Bo Levi Mitchell been throwing well and Eric Rogers catching at least 3 or 4 good passes. Mo Price only caught one pass but I can imagine Hamilton making some changes on their coverage the way Eric Rogers is catching the ball. That means Maurice Price might get some openings in the 2nd half.

DEFENSE :

They are doing well defending the run and pass. They probably made a couple of mistakes on the passing side, one Collaros got lucky escaping Quinn Smith's tackle for a sack. Collaros ended up throwing the ball to an open receiver. The other mistake was costly as Brandon Banks was wide-open for a touchdown. Give Banks' speed credit though. Defense already recovered a fumble that got Stampeders touchdown later on.

SPECIAL TEAM :

Coverage team is doing a good job with Banks but we still have two more quarters so they can't be comfortable yet. ST already blocked a field goal and they ended up scoring a FG of their own later on. Punt Return need to be better though. Cunningham seems to be struggling catching the ball. He bobbled a couple of them already. He hasn't given the Stamps good field possession just yet.

Overall I am happy with the first half and I hope they keep it up. I guess it is time for Jon Cornish to get some good ground work in the 2nd. He might get an opening because I think Hamilton will adjust their defense on limiting passes by BLM. Defense needs to keep pressuring Collaros and make it tight for the receivers to catch the ball.

I'd like to see the D get more pressure on Collaros but it's gone pretty well overall so far. If Cornish busts out in the 2nd half we could be in for a treat.
