Ferland, looks really good to me, just a matter of time until it really starts to click for him. Great hands and feet in tight.
Glad Ramo is playing well, deserves all he gets with his play from last year. Playing good hockey.
Such a good team right now. Team speed is phenomenal and I love the the puck support. I just don't remember that from years past.
So awesome!

Man I haven't had this much fun as a Flames fan in a long time.
Gaudreau is so freaking good and he's still so raw and will improve so much it's going to be a treat watching him for years to come.

Gaudreau in his post game interview was critical of himself about not scoring on the breakaway... Saying he needs to mix things up a bit and be more creative. God help the next goalie he faces on a breakaway if he is planning on increasing his creativity.

I think SN tied him down and injected him with the smart gene because he has did a complete 180 from what he was before. Really starting to like him.

Great game and awesome to see Hudler playing with determination. It seems safe to say Hudler is loving his job as a Flame right now. From top to bottom this was a great team effort. Even Diaz and Bollig made some good plays and are competing hard.

Just finished watching the game.
Flames played really great. Hudler, Gaudreau, Brodie, Gio, Ramo.... the list could go on and on. With the Flames are playing I pretty much expected them to dominate this game and they pretty much did.
Go Flames Go!

He looks kinda like a young Burke here. Tie is all messed up and the mad scientist hair.
Edit: the hit Ferland landed on Gagner at 4:24 into the 3rd period in front of the penalty boxes was textbook. It was so impressive. The hit was so clean and hard neither broadcasts mentioned it and neither team reacted . You could only hear a slight indication from the crowd but it sounded like 50% of the crowd was paying attention.

You don't even have to change it. That kid looks identical to Gaudreau.

And this is what has my really skeptical about advanced stats. There was nothing unusual about the game--one team pretty much dominated the other on the ice and on the scoreboard. If a stat doesn't communicate that fact, then maybe the stat is no good.

Indeed. Kind of has the "lentil soup" shade going on there.

Monahan has more career goals now than Mackinnon, in 6 fewer games. Mackinnon is still way ahead overall though because of his assists though (has 52), but it's nice to see Sean picking a lot more of those up too this year.
