Can't wait for the World Cup when Blake Comeau is on the team due to chemistry with Crosby.

What a player that Comeau is. Wish we had a guy like that on the flames.

Two quick goals late in the third period by the Blackhawks gives Chicago a 3-2 lead.

Chicago hangs on for the victory and have three wins so far on their current road trip.

It's been a weird year so far. A couple powerhouse teams haven't looked that dominating in the games they've played if you watch the games (Anaheim and Chicago). Anaheim has a better record, but their actual games are closer than you'd expect.

Chicago seems to be picking it up lately and finding ways of late. Toews / Kane picking it up as well.

Prior to tonight.

2.09 GAA, 0.926 save percentage.

I know stats aren't everything, especially when he plays for a great team, but he is far from a bad starting goalie.
He's a great starting goalie who has 300 career wins in his young career. A hell of a lot better than Loserongo.

Holy cow, the Islanders are cruising right now. It's 5 straight wins and 10 out of 11 games. Halak has given them solid goaltending. The Islanders beat the Capitals 3-2 in OT, Tavares with the GWG on the PP. The rematch is on Friday in Washington.

Including a pretty decisive back-to-back sweep against the Penguins, who were arguably the hottest team in the league up to that point.
