Good forecheck by Sven there, I thought he was Byron!

On the replay, Monahan shot at the open side, just into the glove.

That's like the second time I've seen Russell just absolutely crush someone on the boards. One word. Lookout.

Enjoy your last shift of the night, Sven.

Monahan was open out of nowhere on that play. Shame he couldn't bury it.

Mono should have gone to his back-up shootout move and gone backhand five hole. That would have been a huge insurance goal this late.

Every check finishing, everyone going all out. Such razor sharp mentality.

I had no idea the Flames top 4 D would be so good to start the year. They've been awesome.

I think our goaltending is getting a ton of help from our top 4 d men, they are not allowing a lot of quality chances, and (mostly Hiller) has been letting in a lot of weak goals (lately anyway). Hopefully he is just having a bad stretch! I think they have just been inconsistent, but because of our strong d pairings they haven't taken too much flak

Yep, certainly not backing off and retreating into our own zone. Lets see this through in the last 5 minutes!

I hear ya. He has some some good success throughout his career with that sharp angle shot, and that pass was put right to Jooris, he just missed it...

They took a good stretch of time in the second to just hang around Ramo and let the Sharks have the puck

I've noticed he tries to be a bit too fancy sometimes, and he'll often go for the pass instead of shooting. If he starts shooting the puck more, I think the goals will start to go in for him. The kid is still learning. He'll figure it out.

Great work by Jooris to get that puck out.

Most complete game doesn't mean played perfectly all 60 minutes, that doesn't happen.
