McGrattan has only dressed for 7 games this year. Our record with him in the lineup? 4-3-0. Part of that might be the opponent however as he was in against Vancouver, St. Louis, Chicago, Nashville, and Anaheim. We won 3 of those games.

He was still rusty/fearful last time out, can't blame him. They should give him 3-4 games to get back in the race with Hiller.

Then return to 50/50, 55/45 split of the action.

Hahah same. I was just thinking a while ago how I could somehow stream the game and watch it in bed.

Setoguchi in the pressbox while Baertschi or Knight get playing time in the AHL is the best case scenario for the Flames.
If we were talking about lengthy stretches in the press box, like 20 games or something, then yes I fully agree that Baertschi would be better in the minors.

But if its a game here or there it doesn't hurt his development. He is still practicing with the team and is part of the team.

It all comes down to number of games sitting. At some point, yeah, better to go down.

Speaking of John Scott. Here's an article about the NHL's best fighting team. And guess what, the San Jose Sharks are #1. The Flames are 5th ranked and the Wings are 30th in the league when it comes to fighting.

Just got back from the states and was looking forward to watching the game in the lower mainland given that it's wednesday and its the national tv night. However it is only on sn west. Can someone tell me why this game isn't part of a double header as other wed nights have had? Without saying regional blackouts to apply. There is no rhyme or reason to snet's tv schedule.

Would be nice for the Flames to get the first goal tonight and not have to play catch-up for once. They'll need to come out flying in the 1st if they want to make that happen. I believe. Go Flames!

Uhm, the Oilers? I guess. Maybe the Winnipeg game too.

EDIT: Carolina game 5-0 or the latest one 4-1...

They never trailed in the game against Arizona on November 13. I don't know if they carried the game the whole way, but they were never in danger of losing.

The Habs game on November 2 was the last game that they dominated from start to finish. Montreal was never in that game.

Yeah, I was referring to score - Arizona, that's right

But the Yptes did tie it, so I guess that takes us back to the Habs game (11 games ago)

9 in a row, 11 of the last 12 (after starting the season 1-5-1)

what a turn around!

Their goal is to play the same way as the parent club, and nothing says Flames like a third period comeback!
