Good effort by the team. Really need much better goaltending from Hiller.

One of the best teams in the NHL. We beat them last week, they beat us this week 3-2. Flames are doing fine.

We need to start playing with urgency in the first period. We cant keep hoping to come back in the third every single game.

Not worried, the guys kept it close and it was a back and forth game against an elite team. We were beat but losing by one goal to a contender shows how far we've come.

I f------ hate the Honda Center so much...possibly even more than I hate the Canucks if that's possible.

That being said, you certainly can't fault the effort. No quit in this team whatsoever, and I love 'em for it. If it weren't for that flukey first goal and that dreadful goal by Hiller, the Flames very likely would have won this game. Move on and get a W in San Jose tomorrow, and everything will be right in the universe once again.

I thought the Flames had one of their better 1st periods in recent memory tonight. The one Anaheim goal that was scored was a complete fluke, and had nothing to do with the Flames playing badly or without urgency.
