Very sad. Loved his attitude through the years. Always tough to cheer against that guy.
Condolences to the Quinn family and the larger hockey community.

One of the best days I had working for the Canucks was when we did a bunch of interviews prior to Quinn's ring of honor ceremony. We had 4 or 5 old bets, Smyl, Kurtenbach, Ronning, someone else in there can't remember. And it was an hour or two of them swapping stories about Quinn. It was great fun, love those old timey hockey stories. He was his for the game of hockey.

He wasn't looking too healthy when last on tv compared to when coaching the Oilers a few years ago.
