The Blues won 4-2 on the strength of two power play goals.

The Rangers lead 1-0 after one period, goal by Moore.

The Rangers crush the Habs 5-0. The Ducks win 2-1 in regulation as they score both of their goals in the second period. The Canucks lead 2-1 late in the third period. Jannik Hansen has both goals and both were assisted by Dorsett and Horvat.

Out of all the nights Chicago decides to play like a bunch of useless bums they pick tonight. They could have took last night off and still won.

3 assists and 12 of 15 on faceoffs for Horvat. Don't think he's getting sent back to London.

Was 1 to 1 until late...the 'Hawks looked sluggish and their passing was sloppy...CC kept them in it but, the O was a step slow.

John Shannon was saying there is a call this week between mngmt for the Canadian World Juniors team and the Canucks about lending Horvat for the tourney. Says he doesn't think they will like the Canucks answer.

Should people be worried about the Canucks? The Ducks haven't looked good for quite a long stretch now and neither have the Hawks. Both these teams are referred to as the ones to beat mostly because of reputation and not play this year.

Are the Canucks the class of the West this season?

Says something when he's out there with a minute left. Though they were up by 2 at that point I guess

Um. No.

Not built for the playoffs. The Blues, Kings, Sharks, Ducks will murder them in a seven game series.

Blues and sharks are not that scary. Ducks, kings and hawks would take us in no more than 6.

The last couple of games he has been put out for some key faceoffs. Against Kesler, Getzlaf and Toews the last two games he is over 80% at the dot. He was also out there in a tie game in the third and up by one in the third. He played well last night and was rewarded with icetime. He'll likely stick because his defensive game is at an NHL level.
