Really noticing the digital advertisements today. They drop the puck, skate into the opposing zone, look for a pass... Pinty's! Pinty's! Pinty's! ... back into the neutral zone, quick transition, 3 on 2 rush... PINTY'S! PINTY'S! PINTY'S! ...

It would be nice if they took the edges off the ads to not be so glaringly a separate part of the broadcast, but from an advertising standpoint, I now associate Pinty's with not being in the neutral zone. I understand there has been some scoring however while I was distracted. Doesn't matter. All I care about is Pinty's now.

I don't mean any of this to denigrate Pinty's in any way. I have no idea what they do or who they are. I only know that I love them.

Interesting. I swear that my sound is perfectly in sync tonight. I've noticed the terrible delay on previous nights but tonight is great. I was really surprised when I turned on the game that I was hearing the puck hit the stick at the same time that I was seeing it.

I didn't notice it much on the goals but on one Flames pp, Ball called the Hawk player swiping it down the ice with a high stick while the puck was still in the air.

No delay on telus satellite, but they seemed to have gone back to last years crowd levels, unless the dome was that quiet tonight? Takes away so much of the excitement.
