Yup. And obviously things that "fans" like myself miss. I never professed to be a coach or know everything about hockey and have been on Glencross from time to time.

Obviously there are things that fans such as myself don't always see when we watch games.

I wonder how many of these stats are just totally made up.

76.8% of people know that statistics are completely fabricated.

Do we know if he can do any pull-ups yet??

He's probably one of the most effective guys on the roster at getting the puck, holding it, and then moving it into a dangerous area.

Lots of off the rush opportunities for calgary, the puck movement on the PP is great, but the in zone time and board play is lacking.

I wish drop passes could be lobotomized from his brain, though.

On the injury front I got the sense that Colborne and Raymond will be the first two back. BT said a couple of the injured guys may go on the road trip next week to practice with the team etc. It sounds like Backlund and Stajan are longer term projects. I would speculate another 3-4 weeks at least.

Well first of all Treliving says statistically the Flames look at games in 10 period chunks.

Flames are +37 in scoring chances. Generated 24 more scoring chances and given up 13 less scoring chances in the last 10 games compared to the first 10 games.

5 on 5 shooting % is high and won't stay there

PP stats - 28th in league PP SOG in the first 10 games; now 5th in league in the last 10 games

PK - increased % and limiting more shots

interntal metrics that the Flames do - chances for and creating in the offensive zone

Glencross leads the team in "offensive zone chances" - creating in the offensive zone not off the rush

It was that one season Bertuzzi spent on the team. A million drop passes bloomed.

Rob Kerr has an interview with Sven coming up in the last segment. He says it's really fun.

Yep, with one arm too! It has always been the other arm holding him back!

I would like to know who the handful of guys in Addy are? Arnold, Hanowski, Poirier, Wotherspoon and Seiloff? That's a handful!
