3 Oilers, 0 Flames.

EPSN is no good.

The more the Flames fly under the radar the better IMO. It makes every victory sweeter.

Our bright new stars don't have enough of a track record to make this list, but Jiri Hudler absolutely belongs in the top 100. Espn is no good.

You know if some of our guys played in the east they would have made this list.

Mike Cammalleri is ranked 64th in this. Last year he wasn't even ranked.

Actually this becomes more fodder for our Hartley's motivation strategy. The team who gets little recognition that is somehow competing for the top in the standings. The lunch bucket crew that could.

I prefer to read the Top 30 Rankings, also known as... Current NHL Standings.

Exactly. Guaranteed Hartley is reminding them everyday how they are underdogs and took at lists like this as proof. A fire has been lit under every player. I also think the less exposure the players get, the better. Less likely to be called ''overrated'' by outside fans. As much as I enjoy seeing Gio at the top of all defenseman lists, its only a matter of time before everyone outside the organisation starts whining about how he's overrated and such. Reminds me of '04 when Sutter had the ol' us against the world mentality going on. Hartley seems to have the same thing going for him.

How is Jonathan Drouin in the top 100 after 14 NHL games?

Meh, stuff like this doesn't matter one iota.

Don't see what the big deal is. Only person you could maybe make a case for is Hudler and maybe Monohan or Gaudreau. None of them are clear cut top 100 really. We all know rankings mean jack and this one really isn't that bad other than the actual rank of a few guys. Nothing to get bent out of shape about. We're where we want to be in the standings that matter.

I feel the same... now if ESPN were to come out with a top 50 D-men and Giordano and Brodie weren't on it THEN you could legitimately say that they're no good.

They did. I believe they had Gio at #12 and Brodie at #35 if I remember correctly.

Isn't this the same group of pylons that ranked Giordano 12th?

Edmonton Special Network (ESPN) is no good.

At least marek vs wyshynski podcast thoroughly thrashed them for ranking Gio so low and argued that he should be #1 and should be getting Norris consideration - already. Word is getting out...

Wasn't Sven Baertschi on that list last year?

That alone says how much credibility this list has.

No. I'm not sure where you are getting that from.

Consideration? If the season ended today, I don't see how he wouldn't win it easily.
