Hypothetically of course (because this probably wouldn't even happen to the Oilers) if someone kicked the puck from the hashmarks and it hit the goalie and went in, would it count?

No.

Miller has to assume he's trying to stop a shot, not a kick. That puck would have gone if Miller touched it or not.
I like the rule the way it is. I don't want to see players kicking the puck soccer style towards the net hoping it would bounce off the goalie for a good goal.

Oilers are now 0-9-1 against the West. Will they ever get a win?
30% of the Canucks' points have come against the Oilers. They don't play them again now until the final game of the season.

I was wondering if it would count to after it hit Miller, but apparently it doesn't matter if it hits the goalie after it's been kicked towards the net.

I'd like to see this panel just call the Oilers a crappy team like they are instead of trying to paint a rosy picture.

Ron Hextall is not happy:
Frank Seravalli @frank_seravalli
Ron Hextall can be heard screaming from changing room. "That's f---ing embarrassing! Jesus f---ing Christ!" and slammed door.

You can tell that some of them want to... especially Kypreos. Lowe's media control must extend pretty far.

I didn't watch, but I'd imagine that the Oilers were "whipping" the "corsi" out of Vancouver tonight in their loss?
Can anyone confirm?

I don't know. Kicking a team when the fans are already upset just pokes a hornets nest. It's their job to keep fans interested in watching again

What is happening in Edmonton is pretty sad.
I kind of feel sorry for their fans now.

That's not their job at all, That's the Oiler's job.

They deserve this after anointing this team as early as they did. They continue to flock to the games. They still think that the core players aren't the problem.
I don't feel sorry for them at all.

Yeah maybe, but also shouldn't he just be trying to keep it out of the net no matter what? If that hit Perron on the ass and went in, it would have counted, and that wouldn't be a shot.

I don't want to see that either, but I don't think we ever really would. Nobody is going to kick when they can shoot. And I'm not saying they should be allowed to kick it in, but if it hits someone else on the way in, it's their puck now. Know what I mean? Like Miller was the last one to have "possession", and he knocked it in. If he never touched it, different story. But he did. Fine line, obviously, but I'm nothing if not a fan of fine lines. And they have all those cameras to show us what's what.
Bla bla bla, I'm bla-bla-bla-ing now, but if that was the Flames, I'd be pissed. That seemed like a legit goal to me. A hockey play where the puck ended up in the net.

I am starting to think that Schultz, RNH, and Eberle are not as good as we thought they would be.
This is clearly not working in Edmonton.

Do you mean if it was kicked then hit Perron in the ass and went in? Because if so, it still wouldn't have counted.
I do get what you are saying but I think if they allow a little kicking then it will be a gong show in front of the net with players who have their sticks tied up trying to kick the puck in and that could obviously be very dangerous.
