Exactly. Granlund is going to be one great player for this organization. Gelinas was just singing his praises earlier on in the post game show on the fan 960 and was talking about his outstanding 200 ft game. He was amazing to watch in the 3rd and especially in overtime with Gaudreau. The Ducks couldn't keep up with them.

Brodie isn't getting near enough love in this thread for his play on the first goal. That was straight up phenomenal.
Gaudreau is a stud. I laughed out loud at hoa filthy gis shootout goal was, and if he had scored on his OT rush after making a phenomenal defensive play and going end 200+ feet the other way, we are talking about one of the most incredible plays in this team's history. When he has had two or three years in this league to get a good read on everybody, he's going to do rip it to shreds.
Love Mr Maher and wish him all the best. I started listening to Flames games in the fall of 2003 when my mom wouldn't let me watch television because I wasn't doing my homework.
Well this was pre 'everyone had a laptop in their bedroom' and I wasn't about to actually do that homework. So I turned on the radio one night, and listened to a broadcast and remember thinking at the end 'Okay, I love this now'.
I get a similar feeling watching this team. In a way, it's like falling in love with someone again when you realise all the wonderful things you loved about them weren't gone for good. This is really wonderful to watch.

Scratching Wideman was the best move Hartley's made all year. I think that was a real wake-up call for him.
I love the Flames!

Advanced stats are only proving everything backwards this year. Flames + bad advanced stats= winning whereas Oilers+ good advanced stats = Losing.
Safe to say the intangibles run this game. you cannot quantify heart and will in stats.

I love how Granlund is finally getting some recognition for his play and his talent.
I could have screamed this from rooftops last year and they would have locked me up for being a looney. I knew this kid would be this good watching him on the Heat. So glad everyone else gets to see it now.
