The ducks have a few smaller players like Vaatanen, Palmieri and Cogliano, it just seems like our fighters like Bollig and McGrattan don't rough up non fighters like Jackman has been doing, and I have no problem with that. Have no problem with finishing the check on Gaudreau but the hacking and slashing is bush league.

Good point. The best way to counter Jackman is to throw hard hits on the Ducks' smaller players. Tit for tat.

playing a big team has more to do with Sven's ice time than the horrible give away up the middle followed by the slide to steal 2nd base

If Baertschi plays the next game I won't post in the GT for 2 months. But it is likely they will see the same things I see and he'll be watching from the press box.

What I would do to watch jackman try to run Johny, miss, turn around and gratts is standing in his way of a line change!

He knew to get in one with someone he could handle because McGrattan is too nice to fight someone who's already had one.
Jackmans next shift he has a late shove on Johnny.

True, but it's funny how things work.
Right near the end of the period, Glencross had a puck that he didn't manage to clear and the Ducks got a shot on goal with traffic. Sometimes the puck goes in, sometimes it doesn't.

Please knock it off and stop baiting people or letting them bait you. The on-going pissing match is obnoxious for everyone.

Glencross is telling himself right now, "Stay the course, don't lose heart. Eventually, that drop pass will work and it will be sweet. They'll see, they'll ALL see!"

As a fan, I don't think this is a good position to put yourself in.
You shouldn't be hoping for a player to fail just to prove a silly point.
I believe it's possible to cheer for the Calgary Flames and not get upset as a result of small mistakes.

Haha thanks. I bought a lot of Disney movies to get a collection going for our new kid. Hadn't seen that one in years and forgot how great it was until I rewatched it.. For the kid of course.

That part is bush league but they are following up on their hits, nobody is safe from a 200 lb guy coming at you if you have the puck. It is effective in getting smaller players off their game. Hits are 12-7 but it seemed like much more of a difference than that? Maybe just that you notice their hits more because of the intensity and of course their size advantage.

Right now, it looks like Mirtle's claim that we're last year's Leafs is a compliment compared to being this year's Leafs.
