Well that is the real issue. Is it under-reported by ~7000% (or over 13M cases per year) or are the studies being used to come up with those numbers flawed? Is it rape if you have sex with somebody who has been drinking, consent or not? Is there an objective way to define all acts of sexual assault? These are the real issues that proper study of these things face because they represent the largest variable in skewing any results we get.

Incorrect in your world view. You agree with Sommers' analysis because you are already predisposed to believing those numbers. She gives you that warm fuzzy confirmation bias.

And, yeah, comparing an anonymous phone interview were people could admit to being assaulted vs how many are reported... wow.... Sommers really loses what little credibility she has there.

Sommers is a very controversial figure and many people disagree with her constant fudging of numbers to "prove" her point. But white men absolutely love her as someone willing to betray her gender for a few bucks.

Agreed with DA. The small bit I watched I found her to be frustrating in her inability to form or provide compete evidence towards her argument.

I'm following her pov up to this point and she has my interest and I'm waiting for the pause where she informs me what these crucial variables are that are always omitted. Then .... nothing! C'mon, you just said these ommitted variables were "crucial" yet you can't tell us what they are. It's the very crux of your argument.

That suggests to me either an inability to articulate and convey her argument with examples or a deliberate attempt to mislead.

Either way my interest and confidence in her and my desire to listen to the rest of her argument drops significantly.

No logical point was ever made in a video that could not be made far better in writing. If you want appeals to emotion or a massage of your bias muscles, then by all means film away. Otherwise write it out.

Alleged by every participant in the video that it was fake. Only the film team claimed it was real...but the two have been silent since the complaints arose. They have vanished from social media and have made the video private.

I won't say it's absolutely confirmed fake but I feel conspiracy theories have a better chance of being real.

That's exactly what I meant by that post: the men and the actress (both "participant" groups) in the video both allege it's fake but no word from the upload group.
