That video looks so scripted to me for some reason.

Agreed - everyone in the video is likely playing the role they were asked to play. Poorly.

I don't know.

The guy in the big hat looks like he legitimately wants to help her.

You're not the only one to think this. It looked like he was trying to help to me as well.

Wonder why they included the clip of him in the video.

Confirmed as a hoax.
They told the men they were filming a comedic skit and/or a school project then got them to sign a release form then stabbed them in the back.

I'd like to see a social experiment video of guys who appear innocent just saying "hi" in a friendly way to random girls in Toronto. The over entitlement from women in this city is ridiculous. These "social experiment" videos are getting so one sided painting guys as normal guys as creeps, that it would be nice to see a video of guys hitting back with bitchy entitled women videos, just to see the dichotomy of how people react to it.

I've read that some of the guys never signed any papers at all.
I'm guessing that opens the door for some defamation suits.

It's about as open and honest as the "Hollaback" commercial that's been around the net.

Very bizarre. Would like to hear the motivation behind the creator of this video.

Not surprised this is fake.

Why don't you take a gander at this....

BTW, it is really, really NSFW.

NSFW!

Would love to hear your thoughts on THAT. Some other videos on that channel are.... "enlightening". Go ahead. I dare you...

OK, so after two and a half days.... no replies to the above video/post.

Sure it could have "slipped through the cracks" for a couple people, but the CP community as a whole? Especially those most vocal on these issues lately?

Puhhhleeeeassse.

Let's hear some feedback on this!

My guess would be that some started watching it, but were offput by the talking Kool-aid skull, or perhaps the links to "Mens Rights" videos on the sidebar, or the irony of attacking women for exploiting "victimhood" while effectively exploiting male "victimhood", or because it took what appears to have been a rational argument and spliced it into another pair of videos, adding little value in the process.

On the whole, I thought it was mostly just kind of creepy. Furthermore, the way the video is presented makes it seem untrustworthy, and its whole premise therefore really invites the viewer to go back to the first sources from which the various statistics come from, which is a bit of an effort really.

Basically, I just thought it took what could be a good debate, and made it weird and not really worth bothering to engage in.

Thanks for the feedback flylock shox.

So, nothing bothers you about what is IN the video? That is OK with you?

Are you fishing for something? Demanding opinions from the masses without offering anything of your own?

The video had a "Loose Change" vibe to it that made me question its credibility from the start. I couldn't be bothered to watch any more than a minute of it, but I bet it requires a whole lot of confirmation bias to take it seriously.

The Kool-aid skull bothered me. I thought it was creepy and weird, and made me wonder about the person who chose to speak through it and their motivations for presenting themselves and their position in that manner.

I thought the swearing children were funny, because I find swearing children funny (unless they're swearing at me, in which case I just don't like them).

The lady with the statistics seemed persuasive enough, but appeared to be speaking from an agenda of her own rather than just "debunking" myths presented by others. Maybe if it was just her video, it would be compelling, but the author of this "mash-up" did her a disservice in presenting her arguments as he/she did.

If the argument is that "some women who consider themselves "feminists" use statistics that are derived from studies with poor methodologies and that their talking points based upon these statistics are therefore fallible" well then yes, I could get on board with that, once I was persuaded of the actual statistics. But this video just leaves me with a sense of abiding distrust, and a feeling that looking into the matter further is going to be expensive in time and energy, and I'd just sooner not bother - which is why there may have been few responses to it.

Welcome to Stupid 101.

Again, I ASK if you have opinions on this. Don't worry, if a certain lot keep avoiding this I very well put it into the "demand" mode. But that is uncharacteristic of me.
