You think by now they would get it right. They've had lots of practice.
I realize there's an influx of players, but Blizzard should have their servers ready. They know this is going to happen. There really is no excuse.

I think the introduction of Garrisons have put a bigger load then expected on the servers.

This was all caused by a massive DDOS attack. They fixed it all up pretty fast considering

Good luck. I tried back at 5pm. After a 36 minutes queue I was given "can not find character" error, when loading.

Sorry...but after 4 expansions, they had to get this right. I don't believe a thing they say. I've voiced my opinions and anger on their forums. Now I'm waiting for compensation, like everyone else. (refund time, etc).

You might get a month free, but I really doubt they will have any refunds.

Have been enjoying playing. I play on a med. pop server, and I've not had any problems getting on when I want to play. I moonlight on a couple of high pop servers (I used to play on them) and when I went to check in with them to restart my various alts rested xp, I saw queues over 4000+, which reminded me why I moved off those servers in the first place.
I am absolutely loving the Garrison. Especially the Followers, and their missions. It reminds me of the best part (imo) of SWTOR, with the Crew Missions, except this feels done right. My current only sole gripe is that I have to go back to the Garrison, from wherever I am, to turn in quests and send them on new ones.
An amusing WoD moment, I was actually in General Chat (don't judge me, it's an amusing social experiment if you can stomach it) When someone asked "Why do you get to be a 'Commander' this xpac?"
On occasion, my fingers just take over. Before I could stop myself, I had replied: "Well, every time the Alliance has called, I have answered. I have killed a Fire Lord twice, a couple of Old Gods, a handful of Dragons, a Necromancer, a Lich King, a demon possessed Night Elf, a magic possessed Blood Elf, several Demons and a couple Eredar Demon Lords. I have helped put a broken world back together again, and even traveled off this world. If they want to trust my judgement and put me in charge, I'm thinking more along the lines of "It's about damn time" instead of "Why?""

A couple of buddies experiencing this issue said that deleting their "WTF" folder solved it for them. Ymmv

I'm surprised how much I'm enjoying Garrisons. The questing has been pretty good (Shadowmoon Valley) so far as well. I can't say it's better than Pandaria yet, but it's been good.

I'm loving this expac so far, taking me back to outlands giving me nostalgia over my favorite expac TBC. The garrison is great, the quest and cut scenes have been outstanding, the single player scenarios, the outpost boosts, shredder, bombing mission, etc..
I'm lucky with the queues since I play on a server 8hrs behind me, so I've only encountered one queue that took 9 mins to get in.

Add me to that list. The content is fantastic so far.
Several guildies have already hit 100 and were complaining about how fast they did it.
I'm really disappointing in the long instance queues for dps, I'm talking over an hour for each one.

Garrisons are so much fun. I'm enjoying taking my time with the expansion. Level 93 so far and I'm in no rush!

Then again, we could add each other to our battle net lists and queue together...

I have a Pally tank, but my main is a Shadow Priest.
I am way better at being a caster than I am with any form of melee character.
What are people using for their level 90 character boost? I'm thinking warlock...

Pretty fun so far, done my legendary ring quest as far as I can until raids unlock gave me a nice 680 ring. Heroics are pretty easy just hit ilevel 621. Que times are high though
