Parise first game back from his concussion and has a goal. 2-0 Wild leading the Jets in the first.

Man the Jets are terrible. Parise with another goal. Zero 5 on 5 shots.

Don't think this goal will count though.

Troy Grosenick, Josh Jooris' former teammate at Union College, with a 45-save shutout for San Jose in his NHL debut.
Impressive.

It's 6:58, it is impossible for the Oilers to be losing at hockey right now, and that's the only thing keeping them from being down in this game.

Gene Principe doing "Gagner Style" on the pregame shows is a pretty good sign that we're all losing.

Fredrick Andersen has been pulled again in the Anaheim game. Also pulled two games ago against LA. Florida now up 4-1 in the third period.

Florida is starting to catch up in terms of games played. They are near the bottom of the standings because they've played only 14 games. They aren't that bad this year. Beating the Ducks is great because many Eastern teams won't be taking points from California this year.

2 regulation losses in their last 12 games. I think they're Oiler bad..

Tough loss in overtime but huge credit to the team to tie up the game after being down 3 in a tough building.

Strong, solid period for the Oilers according to Remenda. They could (and probably will) lose 10-0 at sometime this season, and he'd still probably praise the teams effort for not allowing a goal in the last few minutes of the game or some crap.

End of the second, 5-1 for the Panthers over the Ducks. Panthers scored four goals in the second period. Ducks are going to be mad on Tuesday.

Hall thanking the Oilers medical staff for getting him back in only two weeks is definitely the funniest least intentional comedy moment of the day for me.

Do the Oilers have any actual doctors as "medical staff"? Or do they rely on Rexall pharmacists? (No disrespect to actual pharmacists meant).
