In another game I played I was also a secret 3rd party much like this one. One of my PRs had required the target to be among the top 3 posters for a given day, needless to say that pretty much drove him insane. I made sure to make my PRs more reasonable this time.

Not a bluff at all. Power was a two-shot. When I saw how everyone was saying that powerless townies were not a mafia target I figured I would shut up about the second shot and say no to all group powers so that I basically coasted through the game until the end where I could actually stop a mafia quickhammer.

I could have unvoted Diss and then saved him, but it would have been the same situation as we were already in. The best shot I had on that power was Starseed but when he shot Timbo, I figured he was scum picking off a townie and so I didn't use it. Bad call there.

no I'm a Kings fan (home of the best goalie on the planet) being from LA but basketball is the only sport I follow closely, though I will occasionally watch a hockey game as I love sports fights

Oh, so that wasn't just a newbie feeling? Jeez, this game almost drove me insane a couple days. The last day with Oling, I almost told him to lynch me so I didn't have to hear his crap anymore.

I have had some messed up dreams the last month about this game. I'll probably sleep like a baby tonight.

Embarrassing maybe, but I PM'd Mazrim after I was dead to tell him about a dream I had.

"CP mafia just ended (mafia win of course) and within 1 minute Mazrim had posted 4 new mafia threads with four new games all with elaborate themes to run concurrently. I had to choose which one to enter."

Not sure how it worked in Mazrim's game but if it's anything like the other game I played with these secret groups the gift being handed out had a certain % chance of working, with later messages sent in that same day having a lower % chance of the item being given out working. Also any broken powers given out would flat out not work if the person running the game deems it to be a broken role.

For this game we could each send 3 messages a day.

It was up to me to decide what I wanted to give out or what PR I wanted to threaten the user with.

When I said the Eternals was responsible for certain PR threats I was lying, of course I couldn't just flat out say "oh if you don't join I'll make your life a living hell" or I would look like the bad guy!
