This sounds alot like your "Let's lynch HG15" plan where all that did was get the votes off you.

Now you want to "trick" the mafia. Hmmm...who else wanted to "trick" the mafia?

Well Mazrim takes about 15-30 minutes or whatever it is after the hammer before posting the reveal so I think we can call that a soft deadline.

Not trick. Put them in a position they have to gamble. And if I'm mafia, there's 0 risk to Timbo. Why are you so afraid of Timbo getting my results if you think I'm mafia?

Like I said, I'm not telling him to bucket me, I'm asking him to leave it as an option to give the reason for the mafia to risk nightkilling me. Otherwise I wake up tomorrow, claim my results, probably don't get believed, and you guys try lynching me tomorrow anyways and we still lose.

If he flat out refuses to bucket me, the mafia wont kill me. Period, we all know this.

So tomorrow we wake up, maybe Drury18's dead, heck probably Timbo's dead after this discussion. But if they were afraid of Timbo being able to confirm my results, maybe they kill me. Now all of a sudden my town reveal makes Timbo and the other town go back and read my posts more critically.

If they don't kill me, Timbo gets my results.

We're in a position where gambling is not a bad option. At least in my opinion.

There's also 0 benefit. Look at the numbers.

If it's 3-2 town/scum, we lynch town it's 2-2. Timbo can bucket you, you are mafia, your buddy kills me off, it's 1-2 town/scum. Doesn't matter what Timbo has, he's outnumbered anyway and town loses.

There's no scenario where standing behind you to get results actually will do the town any good.

So if you are town as you claim and gambling is not a bad option then why would you not go with what you posted yesterday and vote for HG15? You do realize that if we stay tied by the deadline the scum are getting a free night kill right? That is not making you look very town like right now. Yesterday you were posting you thought he was the godfather, that you would be willing to go with the lynch if the rest of us did. I changed my vote first and then nothing. The deadline gets bumped again and you are right back at me again. Every game has had a godfather. You investigated me and got results, that means I am not him. If you are town why not help us kill off a scum? Then we can worry about who is what with better numbers the next day.

Okay, let's say we do end up lynching Diss and he shows mafia and we don't win right away.

I'm going to investigate you Drury18 because, yes, I do think there's a possibility of being mafia with Diss. I didn't want to say it because I know Timbo doesn't believe it, that's why I wanted him to bucket me and get my result. I don't want him to have to trust me, I wanted him to know my result.

So here's how it works out now:

I investigate you, if you're town. Well I know it's hockeyguy15 and will vote him if I'm alive. He'd vote for me and Timbo/Drury18 would get the tie breaker.

But if you visit hockeyguy15 leaving you, me and Timbo, who's Timbo going to vote for? Me of course, so town loses.

That is unless he gets my investigation results and sees you visit hockeyguy15.

Now if you are mafia you have to gamble. Do you kill me and hope Timbo visit me leaving you and Hockeyguy15?

Or do you kill Timbo leaving me and Hockeyguy15, who already have shown we think each other are town.

And if you aren't mafia Timbo gets the results that you didn't do anything. And the opposite is true.

If you're so sure I am mafia, there's 0 risk of putting Timbo's bucket on me. The only risk is if you end up mafia and it blows your 100% trust Timbo has in you.

This only works if Diss shows mafia, but I doubt we're getting a lynch.

Timbo take a look at what I'm saying. Look at how much Drury18 has defended Diss today against every accusation. Even when asked why he thinks Diss is town he avoids it.

Curse that vote I started the day with. Town would have won the game by now without it. I don't know where it came from but if it was something starseed/puxlut did and town loses because of it I will have some choice words for them after this game is over.
