Granlund was 1 second behind Monahan for most ice time by a Flames forward. He also put up an assist and is a PPG player.

Hudler seems to have had a great game. Watching now and he's all over the puck. I really, really like Hudler. He can teach a lot to the young kids about the right way to play the game on both ends of the ice.

Please look at this chart before anyone goes overboard with Baertschi's -3 today.

He was barely on the ice for the 3 goals and it is a coincidence. Nothing more.

I know Monahan is a unreal player but I feel that Gratts did a real number on him. Monahan is a big kid and after Gratts took him under his wing, he shows so much confidence and is not afraid to mix things up.

Its the Rags and the Leafs (Healy's main two teams when playing), and then MTL is honoring another player (Lapointe), I'd be very surprised if any of the national intermission air time is going to be devoted to the Flames/Florida afternoon game.

Under the radar is completely fine with me.

However - Did Bouma really miss the first 3/4s of the third period?

I can't recall now, but the last shift he took before he had that big break was on the PK, so I assume he may have been recovering from a shot block.

Bookmarked. I was sad when nhl.com dropped the shift charts.

Also, this was not a game where we should have been drowning that badly in terms of shot attempts. The Flames need to control the puck a lot more.
