My guess is that Tate was likely to split the game evenly...but as soon as he threw that lazy pick in the first half Dickenson/Hufnagel had enough and wanted to make sure that the team had positive momentum to finish it out...given the game Rogers and a few other of the recievers have had since with Mitchell, I think that was a smart play.

But, now up by two+ scores...bring in Tate again.

I think it is time to take Bo Levi off the game. I am getting uncomfortable seeing that dirty Khalif Mitchell playing defense for BC. I know he is playing very well but this is a nothing game. Drew Tate, aside from the interception was also playing well. So let Tate play the rest of the game please..

I'll even take McDaniel out also.

Flashback Friday...it was a decade ago and the Stamps played in BC in second to last game of the year. This was the Dunigan coach/GM year.
Stamps pull off a last play onside kick (with the reciever Juhaz (QB was Kahari Jones)punting the ball, and a guy from behind the ball (onside) when kicked recovered in the endzone, for what would've bene the winning score. Dunigan told the refs they were going to do it, but they blew the call big time....and Calgary loses. No reply in the CFL in those days, and I recall distinctly watching the game and TSN didn't have a proper reply anyways to show it, but from all accounts, it was a legit TD.

Great play and the Stamps got jobbed.

Quinn Smith is pretty fast for a fat guy. 2 sacks tonight. Good on him.

Quinn Smith with his 3rd QB sack.

33-16 win for the Stampeders.

Josh Sanders might be the only one.

Good win for the Stamps 33 - 16 over the BC Lions. Another good thing was the game ended and we only lost one player Jock Sanders to an injury. I think it is a minor ankle injury.

Offense : Both Bo Levi Mitchell and Drew Tate played well. Mitchell looks sharp and threw over 200 yards. Tate started hot also threw for over 200 yards. If you take off that interception throw, Tate was good. I am so glad SB Marquay McDaniel is back. He was awesome tonight and he caught 163 yards. He finished the game injury-free. WR Eric Rogers caught a couple of TDs is fighting WR Joe West, who also played well tonight, for a spot in WR in West Final game. With McDaniel back and Lewis coming back next game and WR Maurice Price, Rogers and West would battle the other WR position. It is going to be tough decision for Hufnagel on West Final.

Defense : Huge game by Shawn Lemon with 2 qb sacks and backup DT Quinn Smith 3 qb sack. Defense seems to have difficulty is stopping Stefan Logan running or catching the ball.

Special Team : I am glad Rene Paredes was perfect tonight. I was hoping Stamps tried FG more for Paredes to practice and boost his confidence. I thought the coverage did a good job tonight.

Sanders left the game in the first half with ankle injury. I think it is more precaution.

Was unable to watch his one but ts great to see no one got injured cause the outcome didn't matter...they could have lost by 40 and it doesn't matter one iota.

Reading this game thread I notice a severe lack of PeteLFan going on about how this is a "garbage" team or they are "embarrassing".....hmmm...wonder why?

Because I missed some of it, and they actually played well. That was more of a team win then all season, although the D does not to clean up a few things.
