We traded Stralman for the pick used to select Max Reinhart so the jury's still out. Hopefully Max will become an NHL regular one day, and at a time when he is of more use to the Flames than Stralman would have been.

EDIT: Max looks snakebit right now, leading the Scorcheys in shots but only one goal so far.

Because we don't get the matchups, this will be a high scoring game. If the Johnson or Stamkos line are out against Smid-Engelland there will be a puck in our net. 5-4 Tampa Bay with the win. Stamkos 1-1, Johnson 1-2. Byron with two breakaways, no goal

I'd love to see Jooris slotted in on that line with Monahan and Glennie, who he seems to play well with. Then Jones on that 3rd line with Sven and Byron, adding size and grit to speed and skill.

Hoping Gaudreau will be back to 100% tonight and works some magic with Granny and Hudler. I still believe in Sven and I hope he has a really solid game too.

I like the look of those lines.

Still can't believe how beautiful that OT give-and-go was between Jooris and Mono.

You know what, I still like that top-6. Can't wait to add Raymond-Backlund-Colborne back into the mix.

He may get Saturday's Panthers game. Afternoon start, so it will be almost like a back to back.

Ugh, I do not like Diaz, he's been a giveaway machine this year. Luckily it hasn't cost the team any wins so far, but that could easily change if he's on the ice at the same time as Stamkos

I'll be working and listening on the radio. I know people think I'm crazy when I fist pump with no context but whatever. Would love to see the Flames stay at the top of the standings.

Josh Jooris - from 35th place in the CP prospect voting to first line duties in the NHL within 3 months.

Looks good! Love Jooris getting rewarded for his stellar play. Adding speed on Monahan's wing should help in both zones. And Jones should fit in well on the 4th line if he keeps up his physical play.

Hoping for Baertschi to play with some more jam, which should open up more room for his creativity. Not a make-or-break game by any means but signs of turning the corner would be great!

I wonder why they're scratching Schmid for Raff? Do they want Tampa to run up the score?
