Always thought Burke's thing with low numbers was stupid anyways.

Unfortunately, with the <35 mandate and the stupidity of Forever a Flame, it's going to happen someday. I included those numbers only because, technically, they are available.

2, 3, 10, 12, 14, 25, 26, 28, 34, 35 (assuming no trades)
Doesn't Bollig wear 25? Leaving, realistically, 10, 26, 28, and 35

I thought so to, but what do you think the mindset is of a young player when Burke pulls him aside and tells him to pick a low number? Realizing the implication I'd think they'd be pretty pumped. Maybe just another small part of building a solid team atmosphere

Gah, forgot about Knight... so give Jooris 26, and Granlund 28... done.

So, apparently we're a little weak on the right wing...

For those who haven't seen it yet, Jooris is currently 3rd in points per game for rookies that qualify (3 games or more this year) with .714 (5 pts in 7 games). Granlund is tied for 1st (1.000). Might as well put Jooris together with Granlund and Gaudreau and let them tear it up.

You know, I like that Gaudreau-Granlund-Hudler line. Kind of do not want them to break up.

I would like to see Jooris slot on the RW of Monahans line and either Glencross or Sven on the LW. At least give Sven a look on that line as it could very well bust him out of this slump.

I think Jooris should start playing with Monahan. Jones can go back with Glencross and Byron?

Gaudreau - Granlund - Hudler
Baertschi - Monahan - Jooris
Glencross - Byron - Jones
Bollig - Bouma - Seto

Hartley is not going to give Granlund or Byron the first line defensive responsibilities, nor will he want Sven or Jooris facing every team's top line.

Monahan will be with Glencross and either Jones or Hudler until either Stajan or Backlund are back.

Hopefully he has what it takes to keep his game at the current level and is not just running on callup energy.

I know feaster gets blasted on here a lot, so you assume I'm taking a shot at him.

No....my question was....does anybody know what scout was behind finding Jooris? Who saw something in him?

Are you even allowed to change numbers in the middle of the season?
