You know what I really enjoy?

Reading the PGT after a Flames win while listening to the 630 CHED post game show after another Oilers loss.

I remember hearing Treliving on the radio at the beginning of training camp. He said the biggest thing he was looking forward to was finding the players in camp that would exceed expectations, basically finding the diamonds on the rough.

I imagine he's thinking Jooris is that player now.

Setoguchi needs to be waived, cut, sent to Alaska or whatever but Granlund better stay in the NHL because he is definitely ready.

It will get overlooked, but Setoguchi had one of his better games in a Flames uniform tonight. But Granlund and Jooris have passed him. It is hard to imagine the Flames not waiving him when bodies start to get healthy.

Strange, I thought he was completely useless out there.

Yeah I don't think he's been bad lately... he's just been an NHL body, which we need at the moment. He doesn't really help or hurt us right now. Though you could easily argue not producing is hurting given his icetime and opportunities.

However when Colborne comes back, or Stajan, or Backlund it's a pretty easy decision who I'd rather have between Jooris and Setoguchi. Or Granlund and Setoguchi.

I'm not one to blame the refs, but after the high hit on Glencross that led to a 5-3 goal against and the botched hooking call in OT we deserved this.

We have way more guys who are going to get healthy than we have Setoguchis to scratch. The call ups are too good.

I guess David Jones as well? Or maybe Bollig?

Unrelated to anything, but Brodie's eyebrows are outstanding. Just like the rest of him.

Everything is awesome.

Oh, and I hope Rämö gets the starts in Tampa since he used to play there, even though I've loved Hiller so far.

Yeah, I've been abusing them in my daily predictions and I'm just waiting for the day I'll be wrong. That 1st pairing must be something else.

He was forechecking hard and generally rushing hard all over the place. Caused a couple turnovers. But he was brought in to score points, and he isn't doing that. Granlund and Jooris are scoring, and are doing all of that hard work too.
