Yeah, Monahan's performance should be very much taken into account that he's playing Backlund-level first line minutes as a NHL sophomore.

We are tied for 2nd over all on goals for as well (41). Granted, we have player 4 more games than Pittsburgh who also has 41 and one more game than San Jose, also with 41. Still, I would have never expected it this far into the season.
Fourteenth in goals against, but again, we have played more games than the teams ahead of us.
