Send Sven back down if he isn't going to get an audition with some skilled players. Its no secret he is a man of confidence.

I know the board has its for and against Glencross mix. There is not a player who frustrates me more (granted I love the current roster). He is so damn lazy and only looks passionate when he has the puck. He is given a ton of ice which should be going to others who have earned it and just doesnt fit the team bill of energy and hustle.
Once the flames are healthy, there will be some roster decisions that need to be made. I think that Seto is going down and prefer McGrattan over Bollig. Jones has been playing better as of the last few games so I would keep him in the lineup to see if the spark can turn into a flame.
IMO, Glencross should be on the 4th line once we are healthy again.

Anyway, to Glenny scoring 3 in the third Go Flames

Gaudreau didn't start out on a line with skilled players either. He worked his way up through the lineup. What line would you break up to insert Sven when the team has won 2 in a row?

Guys, Glencross is not the problem. I think it might just be the Capitals are pretty good team and have lost 4 in a row, so they're trying extra hard tonight.

I've got no issue with guys getting penalties from scrums or to save a goal. I hate stick fouls so I take issue with the Bollig penalty.

The hate and criticism for Glencross is as pointed and unfair as it is for Baertschi. Ridiculous.

I agree, but the fact Glencross was already engaged with Backstrom shows just how dangerous that attempt was... Absolutely ridiculous play by Ovechkin, that could have had a far worse outcome.

Regarding the last goal: why oh why is Wideman on the PK in the first place??! He's ok 5 on 5, but Smid even would have been better. Bad on Hartley there.

I agree Dis, he ALWAYS gets the stupid, selfish, off the cuff penalties but I was kind of proud of him for his reaction to that one- he's having a good year so far- he almost made up for it, I think he'll get a goal in the third.
