Thank god that period ended. Flames really struggling after they gave up the goals. I think you see Ramo next game after that gaff by Hiller on the 2nd goal.

Oh, and I hate Joel Ward.

Flames will win this. I think the Caps have used up all their good luck and favorable calls for one night. I'll say the Flames take this one in OT.

I agree, he hasn't looked very effective so far this year. He needs to ramp up the intensity a bit.

Ya it's strange... I just figured for a guy that gained 10-15 pounds of muscle in the off season or whatever it was, he wouldn't shy away from the physical stuff so much. I want to see him hit somebody and get a little fired up once in awhile...

Really, everyone but Gio needs to find their game tonight; Hiller included.

Monahan needs to get his feet moving. He's standing, looking to pass and not creating room.

I agree. I expected to have conversations about whether Monahan needs to tone it down this year.

Money's just not a super physical player. Remember too last year he had sheltered minutes which really benefitted him. This year he's the go-to counter for the likes of Alex ovechkin. He's fine

I think even Grats would have scored on that chance. Poor Byron. It's been a long time since I've seen a player as snakebitten as he is. Kid needs a good bounce. Maybe a puck hits a couple of bodies in front and then goes in off someone's arse. Anything.

Wow what hate on Sven! Come guys ease up a little lol! Shoulder the blame on Hiller for that one. It was all hiller.

Glencross defending himself. He is notorious for taking stupid penalties but I don't blame him on that one.

Wideman, c mon man, that was stupid.

Paul Byron????????? Love the guy, but love Sam Bennett more. Guy should have ten goals by now, 5 at least. OK how about 2?

Someone is going to get a good Bolliging this period, I can feel it. Hopefully the penalties will offset- I love our 4 on 4 play.

I'm not criticizing him or anything, I just expected a player of his size to lay the body once in awhile. Did he not get suspended for awhile in his draft year for a dirty hit?

I'm not asking him to play dirty or anything, but you're a big strong kid... Don't be afraid to use it.

Hiller's been fine except the second goal. Stoned Ovechkin 3 times all alone.

Ovechkin will be suspended, but it doesn't do us any good.
