O'Brien was just punching blind, Engelland was face on throwing jabs. If you're gonna drop the gloves, at least face your opponent, coward.

Hiller had to be sharp there. Good job finding that loose puck.

You know when an Oiler fanboy says something like this, it's true:
Mark Spector @SportsnetSpec
Flames are scrumming and scrapping, right in the mix in WSH. Oilers losing in peace in Philly. Twas ever thus.

Someone able to upload a video of the scrap? I'm on the bus and can't view it.
Please and spank you.

I've been really impressed with englland tonight, good offensive play, not bad defensively and a great fight, which seemed to be stepping up for his teammates. Given our cap situation I don't care if we are paying him way too much, I'm just glad we have him. Would rather see him play any day instead of Diaz

Not at all, not in my opinion at least. Monahan has the toughest assignments of any Flames forwards right now. With Backlund and Stajan out the defensive load is all on him for the forwards. Because of that he's been saddled with two vets in Glencross and David Jones, but he's been very well in a two-way role.

Gonna have to grind this one out. Not going as crisply as against the Habs.

He was definitely out there earlier in the period, haven't been paying much attention the last few minutes.
