Default Crazy Hockey Parent Level 2 Billion...

http://metronews.ca/news/vancouver/1...nhl-officials/

Quote:
The court was told that the mother has sent hundreds of emails to people involved in her sons’ hockey teams in the past and has caused commotions at their hockey games, including assaulting one son’s coach.

The court was also told that the mother does not approve of the involvement of Mike Babcock, the coach of the Detroit Redwings Hockey team, in one son’s hockey and sent an e-mail earlier this year to 13 people at the Detroit Redwings NHL hockey team.

The father’s evidence was that he was told by Vancouver Giants hockey team coach Don Hay and Giants majority owner Ron Toigo that because of the mother’s behaviour, they picked other players for their team and not the oldest of the two sons, who now is 17.

Good Lord.

Crazy mom period.

The order arose from a divorce case, where the mother has repeatedly tried to vary a 2008 court order that granted the father sole custody of his three kids.
The father has allowed the mother access to the children and the judge decided not to stop the mother from contacting the father to inquire about the kids or arrange access.
But the judge decided to limit the mother’s contact to twice a week by email and that each email not exceed 200 words and not contain any email attachments.
The judge also granted an injunction against the mother to prevent her from filing any new legal actions in B.C. Supreme Court without first obtaining court approval.

Unfortunately crazy hockey parents are unlikely to get past the first sentence where it describes the kids as 'junior hockey stars', vindication for stalky wack jobs at last!!

Ah, the politics of hockey. Being a crazy hockey parent will automatically limit your child's success as others don't want to deal with you.

If she is under order to avoid contacting officials with the Kootenay Ice, I'll give you one guess as to what team the elder kid plays for.

I read that part too...but it says League, not team. I know there is a KIJHL, which is a Junior B league, Kootenay International Junior Hockey League.
Who do you think the crazy lady is?

Back in the late 70's I was helping my father coach Midget hockey. There was this one parent who was always upset with the amount of ice time his kid or the situations he was being played.

Anyway this one time the parent leans over the glass to the bench and starts beaking off to my father. My father in turn grabs the guy by the scruff of his jacket and hauls him into the players bench and tells he he can coach the team.

We left the bench and watched as he tried to coach the last period of the game. After the game said parent apologises saying he didn't realise coaching was so difficult.

How does Mrs. Sedin have time for this sort of thing with John Toterella looking for her all day?
