Johnny was exposed to the Edmonton stink early. Being humanitarians, his parents called the Flames after this and told them Johnny has to be a Flame so he could brutalize that crusty fanbase for years to come.

I feel old. 11 years ago you might have found me making the odd road trip up to Edmonton to party on White ave with some buddies. Gaudreau was taking road trips to Edmonton with his folks playing Timbits hockey

I'm sure it was the Edmonton media, I mean even back then they knew that this hockey was better than oilers games.
