I totally agree. He makes that comment then Gaudreau goes and gets a highlight reel wrap around goal and an assist the next period. Instead of fessing up that he could be wrong he just digs his heals in. That comment will stick to him like 'Axis of Evil' to Bush just to remind everyone what a dope he is.

I'm sure he's quite pleased that he found something that can make him a bigger troll.

That same series he went off one time during a break in play telling a story comparing the Red Wings to World War 1 vets. I was shocked he would have the gall to compare heroes like war vets to hockey players.

The one and only time I have e-mailed a company calmly asking why a person they employ had a job there. Naturally, CBC did not respond.

The thing is Don Cherry is entertaining (or at least he used to be), has charisma and personality, and every once in a while says something insightful that makes you look at things in a new way (although these years, those moments are fewer and farther between).

Glen Healy is just a boorish ape, and that's where the story ends. There's absolutely no charisma or charm there to balance out the rough edges. Don Cherry is polarizing...but to be polarizing it tends to mean that you have someone on your side. Glenn has nobody. People assume that someone out there must like him to keep him employed, but the fact is the guy is just universally hated by all fan bases...including Toronto.
