The flames use three defensemen because wideman is our teams best right handed shot according to Marty Gelinas.

The flames are SUPPOSED TO LOSE THIS YEAR and therefore play every game like "wtf, who cares, we are supposed to lose lets play to impress" whereas the habs play as though they are somehow entitled to be the #1 team in the league.

The flames totally took it to the Habs a week ago. I think the Habs got their wake up call last week, maybe they just thought Price would go full god mode again though.

They want a trigger man down low, their best option is Wideman because we have no better right handed shots on the club. What's not to get?

Possibly.
They are also UNDEFEATED in Montreal, remember.

Glad they aren't doing that neutral zone drop pass for the trailer play as much.
It's neat and everything, but was being coached against effectively there for a game or two.

Yikes. Flames are 0 for 12 on the PP against the Habs now. Hard to believe since our PP has actually looked really good at times. I think it's a combination of Price being ridiculously good, and the Flames trying to be too cute at times, looking for the pretty pass. Not enough shots.
