Granlund if they use him on the PP should be used as a trigger man/setup man. That suits his skill set a lot better.
Glencross is obviously on the same PP unit as Glencross, who is more proficient at the net-front role. Redundant having Jones out there on that unit, while Seto brings nothing to the table.

The Habs roster certainly doesn't scream "elite" to me at all. Outside of Price that team wouldn't have a prayer out west.

The hockey gods owe us one tonight for last game between these 2 teams. Hopefully the young guys play well and cash in on the road.

Mrs. Puppet's been too smug since the game on Tuesday, so the Flames better hang a beatin' on the Habs.

David Jones used to be my whipping boy but at least he stands in front of the net. Seto is a useless piece of garbage that needs to be dropped like a hot potato as soon as we get some bodies back. Why in the world is he on the first PP unit. Put anyone else there. Hell, big Ern would be more effective than that guy.

First game at the Bell Centre, and finally completes my Canadian tour of NHL rinks.
I don't expect to see a lot of Flames jerseys in the house...But there will be one! Hoping the atmosphere in the rink is everything I've heard it was... At least until the Flames quiet it lol.
you are going to love it- go early and check out the Habs hall of fame

I will let Hartley put whoever he wants on the power play as long as it stays at 20 percent.

I can't wait for this game to get going, the last match-up between these two teams was great to watch. I like that Calgary is going with a more skilled line-up too.

Hopefully we see some creativity and a lot of hard work from Sven. Gaudreau's been a sensation and I hope he can keep it going too. Also, Monahan shouldn't be forgotten in all of this either. His assist to Brodie last game was beautiful and his play has improved steadily, even as his assignments are getting tougher with all the injuries.

GO FLAMES GO! Should be a great game

Pacioretty had 39 goals last season. That was fourth most in the NHL. He's 25.

Subban is also 25 years old and has already won the Norris.

Price is probably the best goalie in the NHL.

Galchenyuk was drafted third overall a couple years ago and is progressing nicely. Nobody would have raised an eyebrow if he had gone first overall.

They have good forward depth with Desharnais, Plekanec, Parenteau, and Gallagher.

They went to the Eastern finals last season after beating the best team in the East in a 7-game series.

They would be a playoff team in the West.

I'm guessing Hartley wants a puck mover on every D pairing to counter Montreal. Hence Diaz in, Engelland out.

I am guessing it is a simple case of rewarding a player by putting him in the lineup against his old team.

Counter argument:

They lost to Edmonton.

They also only went 14-12-2 against the west.

There'll be more than you think. I see quite a few in Buffalo, Detroit, Columbus and Chicago when I go and in Toronto it has been up to 1/4 of the crowd.

Hiller is playing better than Price. Better sv% lower gaa recently. I hate Montreal, especially Paciodumbass. Most punchable face, and that's saying something with Ribeiro and Marchand in the league.

Price bailed them out so hard last game, should've been like a 4-1 win
