Squiggs96, this was the same tactic you did with me about not revealing who you went after Night 3. And considering it ended up being Aeneas it left a lot of doubt as to why you wouldn't just reveal earlier. Everyone gets questioned, that's the game, it's trying to give the town enough information to use properly.

If you can't say, you can't say. But would PM Mazrim and see if he can confirm what you can or can't say? Invites have been known to not exactly be honest in that regard.

There have been several people that have said they weren't allowed to discuss their powers, invites, etc. I'm guessing some of these were guardians as well (I'm not going back to check).

I'm also going to say that I think there are reasons why some haven't worked, and that is because they didn't follow instructions. Pika's really close to the line, and would prefer that this doesn't become a bigger issue than it needs to be. There are things that can't be talked about, for fear of dire consequences.

I got invites from both Guardians and Externals and did not receive any instructions not to talk about it.

He's been viewing the thread for 20 minutes now ample time to respond. It's a complete contradiction going from "but the eternal invite was pretty straight forward and had no threats" to "There are things that can't be talked about, for fear of dire consequences."

Should have stuck with my initial instincts.

I will guarantee that there are passages in some (maybe not all) eternal invites that say not to talk about it. How many people talked about their invite/gift and it failed to work? Pika never mentioned the invite before I accepted, nor did I talk about the power I received. Does a rape victim tell the police some misdirection to avoid negative backlash? I say yes. Pika says YES, they do sometimes.

I never thought there would be this many questions on something that seemed very obvious. Hopefully I've been able to answer it to your satisfaction now. Pika did feel he was being baited into killing Oling, which is why he chose to kill Girly. It was a high risk move, as I wasn't sure the gun would work nor was I 100% sure she was mafia. If she was town and had the mourning reaction to death, I basically would have cost the town the game. Thankfully Chu was rewarded for his reading of the instructions, she was darkness, and the town also got Aeneas.

If you want to lynch Aeneas today, and instead Oling gets lynched, wouldn't you want to lynch Aeneas tomorrow (which I shortened to auto lynch)? I'm guessing it will be a much more calm day if Aeneas is alive tomorrow instead of Oling, solely based on posting numbers. Pika's a little flummoxed by all this.

So just a couple of points in this post. Wood was treated different than you because he used a vigilante kill which is a town power. You acquired your power from the Eternals, which really leaves us no way of knowing if you are town or not. Yes you killed scum but there are still some weird things things that have happened with you, this flip flop on if your Eternals invite has threats or not is just the latest occurence.

Also I'm not sure if I should read into it too much that you were trying to get the lynch switched from Aeneas to Oling when it was pretty clear Aeneas and Girly were linked. It could just be a coincidence that you were trying to move the lynch off Aeneas, or it could be that you were hoping to save another member of the mafia. I'm not yet sure which I think is more likely.

1) I don't think I ever had a form/Timbo allegation. Scum isn't that stupid
2) what you said about the star and how you logged in was wrong. What you said didn't happen. (You do not know how long I tested this for.n it just doesn't take you to the password screen first). I have accepted that you clicked log in instead of post message. Then your story works.
3) this is a point in your favour but whoever we lynch today will have gone after scum at some point. I also wouldn't say you went after them. Which is a much better sign than just putting them on a list
4) you don't know that I was saved. Your sureness that I was saved is reason 2 of me being suspicious of you. Their are two doctor powers floating around. I am the most confirmed town it is likely I am getting one of them. This makes me a poor target. I assumed you bucketed me and protected me to get this info in the hopes you would get the results of who tried to kill me. You didn't and are insistent I was saved when in game one scum at poison to delay kills which would make a lot of sense right now.

6) you didn't defend me the first day I was lynched so you didn't think I was too town when you weren't being accused by me.

The part I don't see the advantage of is why does scum Squiggs make a big deal about this. He could just say my eternal powers worked. I suppose that would draw suspicion as the others didn't work but it's better than the suspicion of saying nothing.

The pika talking stuff means something and I fully understand why he can't talk about that, it makes sense.

One other point in pikas favour is that Drury is talking like a pirate Nader threat of being cursed. Drury, have you confirmed the curse is real or are you just being safe?

GP_Matt definitely did say if he discussed or rejected the invite he would become powerless. I remember because we had a differing view on what 'blackmailed' meant in the ensuing discussion.

To me that could explain why Squiggs96 refused to acknowledge he got an invite (if he got it when I think he did) and why he didn't say anything before the kill.

Ok, back. starseed, your theory squiggs and I are connected is simply ridiculous. I have gone afer him pretty much every day since the game started. If I was scum and so was he why would I have tried to get him lynched almost every day from the start? And why would I have used a one shot doctor on GGG? Go back and really read the history of the game, there is a clear pattern of me going after squiggs. GS tried to broker the same argument that Rathji and myself were working together by attacking eachother as well because we were both scum. How did that turn out? Now in no way am I saying squiggs is town or not by this post, I was suspicious of him for a long time and it would be a smart play to kill off GS knowing she was on her way out anyhow, making us believe he is town. There is also a part of me that looks at his posting pattern once we really got heavy on him that leads me to believe he is town. I am unsure of squiggs right now.

After I killed Girly, I really wanted to kill Oling as well, but I wasn't able to post for about 45 minutes after the kill shot. Then I was away from the computer for almost 3 hours. Pika thought it would have been great to kill one mafia and his biggest annoyance in this game in the same day, plus it gave us a clear vote on day 8. My thoughts were pretty clear on this at the time, that if you wanted to vote Aeneas out, I was completely for it, but I wanted to wait one day. I made a case for it, but it was too late in the day (deadline approaching), and there were too many votes already on Aeneas. Pika continued his theory that if you wanted someone out on one day, why wouldn't you vote for them the next day unless something dramatic has happened. This is why my vote has gone to Oling.
