I really did like him and didn't want to believe it when things first started to come out.
How does a person really think that, especially being a celebrity, that this won't eventually come to light treating women this way. it sounds like there are numerous instances and it's growing by the day. How do you just punch a women at random and think you'll get away with it? I guess he did for quite a while though; what were the earliest accounts coming to light now, 2001?
Celebrity can hide some awful shortcomings. What a piece of &^%$!

I would assume that Jian isn't dumb enough to think there's lawful confidentiality protection with a PR firm and therefore probably only told him basically what was in his Facebook post.

They rely on fear and intimidation. They know that most women won't report the crime. Going against a local celebrity makes it even more intimidating...it feels like a David vs Goliath situation. Here are some really scary stats:

It's amazing reading his Facebook statement how people have turned on him... When he released it the comments were nothing but people supporting him and somehow blaming Stephen Harper for his termination and encouraging him to run for politics.
Now as the story comes out it's the complete opposite, quite a few angry people on there... Over 30 thousand comments so far.
Also I never knew that Lucy Decoutere when not acting is a captain in the Royal Canadian Air Force, the more I read of her the more impressed I am with her coming forward.

The Star has always been a reputable paper, doing legitimately good journalism. Some people don't like it because it has a left-wing editorial slant (like, for example, the New York Times or The Guardian), but they've never been a tabloid rag like the Sun.
