This thread was started in the off season so hockey wasn't an option. I've done a game early on in a relationship. Never on a first date though. Doesn't seem like it'd be bad though? Maybe make sure she likes hockey first...

It's just the science center with alcohol served from what I could tell. No kids obviously (they ID before you enter). Honestly, if there was less people it could be fun but when I went it was absolutely packed so you had to wait to do certian exhibits and stuff.

Skating at the oval was my go to back in my dating days. As long as you're a better skater than the girl. It's fun, you can help them along, get some exercise, and go out for drinks/coffee or whatever you want afterwards. They make you wear a helmet now so it's a bit more lame. But still could be good?

I feel the same way. I just get way into Flames games to notice who I'm with or what we're supposed to be doing. At least Hitmen games I'm not an emotionally invested in them so I can actually talk to them. At a Flames game I'd spend more time yelling at the players then I would talking to her.

And it's not a $300 first date.

The only time I've done a Flames game for a first date was when I knew she was a hardcore Oilers fan. Because that's just funny.
