Give it a rest. I actually thought the PP had its moments. They generated some great chances, just couldn't beat Price.

You can't blame Hartley because our guys couldn't score.

Glengarry Glencross with his best effort of the season. Need to see more of that.

I line Wideman's confidence. Just need to take his time.

Ummm pretty much impressed with everyone.

Oh my.

Couldn't watch the game. Did the Smid-Engelland pairing only see ten minutes because they suck or because of injury? All four other D played 26+ minutes

My favorite Flames team I think ever. They play extremely hard.

Im not going to name who I thought played poor to avoid the debate - someone else will surely point it out.
Hiller looked good as well - the only goal was a absolute fluke.
Hudler will get his goals soon enough. He does all the little things right and is a pest. It was obvious his job was to stick to PK in OT and PK couldnt get his rush going.

I also quite enjoyed the habs commentator between the benches to give different perspectives and thought he did a great job not being a homer.

I really dug the Habs commentary between the benches as well.

I think Stajan's going to be out for a while. That hurts a bit. But not as bad as it could if the Flames didn't have Granlund sitting down in Addy.

I'm far more concerned about how long Colborne is going to be out. Hopefully it's not a broken wrist. Question here is, does Setoguchi draw back in or do they call up a someone like Sven or Reinhart?

What actually happened to Colborne? I only saw he was injured but not what caused it.

I thought they were ok actually. With 7 PPs the other 4 guys are just naturally going to see more ice. Not much to complain about with the blueline tonight.

Lots of special team play. Plus it was a fast game so the other guys were better fits. And they do kind of suck.

“@DarrenWHaynes: With four tonight, Johnny 'Pick Pocket' Gaudreau is now up to 12 takeaways on the year. He's one theft back of league leader Ryan O'Reilly.”

Even with seven PPs and 3 PKs ten minutes each in a 65 minute game is low...

On the other hand, Brodie leading yet again with 28+

the PK for Habs was pretty much all Malholtra , that face-off master (and almost one-eyed) killed so much momentum.
we also need to work on another entry plan. Thierrien (sp?) caught on really quick to the drop back trick.

The real way to make them pay is by pumping in a PP goal late in the game to take the 2 points. Something the Flames failed to do - though I thought they looked dangerous. But that's the way to make a team play - not by having your designated tough guy stage some sort of contrived with the other designated tough guy (do the Habs even have one?)

The Flames really need to practice shooting accuracy. Far to many shots that miss the net this season.
Otherwise great game tonight.

During the game they showed the Flames trainers working on his wrist before he went to t the lockeroom and he didn't look to comfortable when they touched his wrist.
