Default October 27, just two games.

A quiet night in NHL with a doubleheader Monday.

I do not know why the Oilers are getting the spotlight on the quiet nights when there are only one or two games on the schedule. We shall see if the Oilers keep up their winning streak on eastern conference teams.

Kreider with a horrible hit from behind on Brodie, headfirst into endboards.

5 and a game and probably a suspension.

Then Parise gets his face sliced open by a low high stick while he's on the ice. Accidental that one, but rough game for Minnesota.

Hmm, what does one do when you want both the Habs and Oilers to lose?

Cheer for the Habs anyway.

A look at Kreider's major penalty:

When in doubt, preference goes to the Oilers to lose.

Because Edmonton is no good.

Minnesota's power play sucks, but their even strength is pretty good. 2-0.

Jesus Christ New York... ANOTHER major penalty. A match penalty for targeting the head. Moore with a Matt Cooke special.

Kuemper is becoming quite a nice storyline early on this year; considering he was waiting for a one-way deal at the start of the season from Minny.

Brutal hit on Haula by Moore. Forearm shiver right to the head.

True but Habs fans might be the most insufferable lot in the entire NHL when they are playing well. And I think I want to ensure the Oilers keep Draisaitl up past the 9 game mark, and Eakins for a while longer.

I think Im leaning towards cheering for a Habs loss here. Well, cheering might be a strong word.

Looks pretty similar to Backlund's hit in the pre-season and everyone said I was crazy for calling that a suspendable play.

That was considerably more violent than Backlund's hit.

After no suspensions in the first 3 weeks, looks like we'll have 2 within a few days.

If you count John Scott, then 3.

An obvious forearm to the guys' face?

Yep, that will be a suspension. What a stupid play.

For the Oilers to get an early lead and then choke it up in the 3rd period, allowing 7 goals.
