Not sure how the majority here are feeling but wow, probably one of my favorite starts to a Walking Dead season by far. 3 episodes in and I seriously just can't wait to see what's coming. Season 4 started off extremely slow though it ended strongly. So happy to see that this season just keeps getting better, darker and challenging the characters and this new world even more.
I have to admit that I still haven't read the graphic novels so I'm not sure how accurate this current storyline stays to the original material, though I know that some characters, like Father Gabriel do make their appearance around this point.
Spoiler Alert!
Glad to see Daryl make his way back to the group, with who I can only hope and assume are Carol and Beth. Can't wait to see the next episode to catch up on where Beth got taken to and what was going on in that creepy looking hospital.
Still can't wait to see what happens with the Abraham, Rosita, Eugene storyline. There was a moment is episode 1 where Rosita asks Abraham when they are going to tell them...a line in episode 2, after Michone took out a walker in which Abraham and Rosita exchanged looks and said "and that is why we wait"....What exactly are they waiting to tell them? what is going on with their storyline that we have yet to learn?

At that time I think they were waiting to tell them about DC. That they would be going there with or without them.

Very much could be.
My thinking being that with the way the show is going in the sense that they are continually heading towards a trust no one mentality there is more to this storyline still. Having never read the graphic novels I'm not sure but I still think there is something more that we have yet to learn about these characters.

For anyone wondering, here are the bible verses that were on the board in the church...
- Romans 6:4 -- We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.
- Ezekiel 37:7 -- So I prophesied as I was commanded. And as I was prophesying, there was a noise, a rattling sound, and the bones came together, bone to bone.
- Matthew 27:52 -- and the tombs broke open. The bodies of many holy people who had died were raised to life.
- Revelation 9:6 -- During those days people will seek death but will not find it; they will long to die, but death will elude them.
- Luke 24:5 -- In their fright the women bowed down with their faces to the ground, but the men said to them, “Why do you look for the living among the dead?

Yeah it wasn't the actress but the way the writers made her character annoying.

I kind of wish they would have played out the tainted meat storyline as the paranoia would have made for some potential good conflict but it seems the writers wanted to turn the page from the cannibals to a different storyline where the group splits into two.

Why did the group bludgeon the Termites to death at the end? Why not a bullet to the brain or a slit throat? Did that hold any significance other than to show that many in the main group have also become cold, hard, blood thristy killers? I mean, sure, it seems that is what it takes to live in that time/place/situation, but Damn. DAMN!

Well Rick did say right before they did it that he didn't want to waste the bullets.

They're just showing how jaded Rick has become, he no longer cares what the absolute right thing to do is. His number one motive is the group and he will be ruthless to most if not all outsiders, especially so if you have wronged him and his.

I just don't see Carol hiding in the bushes waiting to be told it's ok to come out, I think it's someone new. The preview for next week is about Beth, looks like she is in a hospital in Atlanta. My thoughts are we're going to get caught up on her adventures and her rescue or escape.

Really enjoying this season. I am interested to see how the road treats Glen, Maggie and the rest.

LOL at Michonne heading into the bushes at the end. Classic horror movie move.
Its night time and dark out. There are bad guys and zombies everywhere. But hey, it's a great idea to go out alone and check out what this rustling is...
Great season so far. Glad Darryl and whoever else is back with the main group. Curious as to what they found out and the Beth previews look intriguing.
Figured the Terminus guys would stick around for a bit longer to be honest and was hoping to see the effect the tainted meat had.

There is no way it's Carrol in the bushes, why would she wait for Darryl to tell her to come out? Her and Darryl must have been separated somehow. I'm wondering if it's Beth and possibly some others from the place Beth was at if Darryl managed to break out/bring back more than just her. I doubt Darryl would bring back any straight up strangers unless perhaps they were children.

It was more about showing the group taking pleasure in murdering and torturing other humans.

I think they could have done the scene better as IMO they tried too hard to make it like a Red Wedding type of violent execution. I can see Rick finishing the one guy off with the machete like he said he would in episode one but the stabbing and bludgeoning to death right in the middle of the church was overboard.

Rick did say he was going to kill Gareth with a red handled machete. Looks like the writers wanted their own Red Wedding.
Maybe Carol is in the bushes and they just didn't want to pay her for that episode

I think it was schoolyard justice, these guys were coldblooded killers and they weren't going to get the easy way out. I don't think our heroes saw it as pleasurable, just justice.

Not a church, 4 walls and a roof.
It puts the nail the coffin of their connection to the pre-zombie world.
Bob, was also the only one that still held on to that ideal.

What was said in the conversation at the end of the episode between Rick and Tyrese?
Something like...
Rick: I never asked for how it was for you getting to Terminus?
Tyrese: You'd kill me (?????)
Rick: No we didn't (?????)
Watched it like 10 times and couldn't understand them or what it meant.
Also, they are leaving the priest behind right? He is the worst actor the show has ever had...even worse than the child actors.

He said "it killed me" and Rick said "No it didn't" I believe.
