Somehow I managed to go until now without playing winter's run. That archon priest is the hardest boss I've come across to date.

Really hard, but the most fun I've come across. I pretty much just do matchmaking strikes now as I've done every other bit. I'm way to terrible at crucible to enjoy it. Still at vanguard level 1, so no good armour or guns for me

Takes so long to move from level 24...
Yeah, I'm still stuck at 23 after a lot of strike matchmaking. I keep getting the same, or worse blue gear. Almost at vanguard level 2 though!

So I've got a few folks lined up to try a raid tomorrow. We're all first timers ranging from 26-28. I originally had a full fire team organized but have had a few last minute cancellations. Anyone up for trying it with us? Need either 1 or 2. We're starting at 1:30 pm on PS4.

Yeah no prob. We ended up with 6 people. Took us almost 4 hours to get into the final room. Going to try to finish it off at 2:00. Not sure if I'll have 6 again so feel free to check in if you're available. Guessing we have another hour to go.
Bloody hell. We've gotten to Atheon, but he's damn difficult. We were at him for 2 hours and can't take him down. There's just so much coordination required. You're basically screwed if someone dies while inside the time portals. That jungle side is especially tough with that tank of a minotaur.

What are the levels of the people going inside? Assuming nobody is 28, the 2 other people who go in will want to launch a rocket right at the Praetorian. One person then starts on the first oracle while the second continues to provide some support for a little bit to the relic holder who uses the R2 melee attack.
I normally main a warlock since being able to self-revive is handy especially as an aggressive relic holder but having a titan toss a flash bang grenade will give the relic holder ample time to take down everybody by himself. If the titan is the relic holder, they can drop the relic with triangle, toss a grenade, pick up the grenade and start going ham.
