I'm looking at preordering and on the pre-preorder page I see there's a data cable accessory. Does the phone not come with one otherwise?
Also, how does this sucker fit in your front jeans pocket?
Seems to fit ok in my pocket. Have to a bit careful when sitting down so things aren't squished, but otherwise isn't anymore uncomfortable for me than the S4 or the Z10.
I also have six film screen protectors to give out for free if someone needs them and doesn't want a tempered glass one. I'm out of town for a bit though so if you want to pick one up it'll have to be in November.
Red Mile - - if you decide to give up an Orzly screen protector, I would be interested. I put mine on terribly, so now the corner of it doesnt stick. Only a matter of time until it comes off. I do live in Victoria, but have all my family in town for pickup and can email you enough for a 6 pack.. Or get them to bring you one I suppose.
Cool, and noted.

Sweet. Noted.
Ultimately, I'm just waiting on the dbrand Glass. If it's as thin, and strong (as they claim), then I'll be taking this Nillkin off and putting their's on.
Pretty sure I'll be parting with the cases. Undecided on the clear one.
Can anyone here actually put on a screen protector properly? Because I'm absolutely terrible at it.
Use a room with higher humidity so the dust gets out of the air, i.e. washroom with shower running for awhile and install using the hinge method after alcohol wiping the shiet out of your phone screen.
If you don't screw up the wipes or get finger prints on the underside of the protector, you should be good.

I have 5 CLEAR LCD Screen Protector Guard Cover Film Shield for the 1+ that I don't need since I got the ghost Armour screen protector on my phone. If anybody wants it, let me know.

Hm! No wonder it always seem to work so easily when people put it on in Hong Kong... I can never seem to get it here even following the instructions.

If anyone has screen protectors, I'll take them
torrent098 and myself have a bunch of film ones if you don't want the glass. I'm leaving for Hong Kong myself though so it'll have to be when I get back or if you can come up to grab it after work.
1. Wipe screen with cloth (jewelers cloth recommended, using a cleaner is optional too)
2. (optional) use canned air to blow dust off phone before putting on protector
3. Put protector on phone (I generally start on an edge)
4. Using scotch tape (or similar brands), attach one end to the screen protector close to trapped dust
5. Using scotch tape, stick dust to tape (screen or protector)
6. Lie protector back down
7. Repeat 4-6 until only air bubbles are left
8. Using cardboard or folded paper, light pressure as possible, push bubbles to edge of screen protector. DON'T USE DIRECT PLASTIC (Can scratch) like a credit card etc. Folding a scrap of paper over a plastic card is ok too. Finger is fine as well, but then you have to wipe oils with cloth.
9. Inspect and redo 4-8 as necessary.
After a bit of practice, it now takes me about 1-3 minutes to install a screen protector. First timers maybe about 10 - 15 minutes including searching for the equipment you need.
EDIT: Just want to mention, when you stick the dust to the tape, it's as light a dab as possible. You don't want to stick stick it hard to the screen or protector, just enough to grab the dust.

I'd love to have a 1+ right now but I have to take my chances at the pre-order on Monday, I'm hoping the process goes smooth, unless someone has an extra invite now 😃
Got my flip case yesterday for the 1+. Was never a fan of the book flip case but for a phone like this I decided upon it. It's actually not as big as I thought it was compared to the shell cases that I usually get for phones.
Not sure I recommend it through unless your already use to the book flip case on your samsungs and stuff.

Did you order the case the same time as your phone? Did you have to pay extra DHL fees? I want to add a couple of accessories to my pre-order on Monday but I'm afraid being dinged by multiple DHL $15fees if they get shipped separately.
If anyone has any One+ One cases or screen protectors they want to give away or sell for a reasonable price and are going to the Flames game tonight please PM me. I ordered a couple cases and screen protectors but they seem to be taking forever to arrive and the seller hasn't responded to any of my messages. I'm from Brooks but I'll be in town for the Caps tonight. Go Flames!!
