Kerry Joseph gets the start for the Riders against the Eskies on Sunday.
Edit: My bad, I see this was already posted in the "Sasky is no good" thread.

Montreal defense is playing well but they are only ahead by 7. I got the feeling that if the Argos just get one bounce on their side Ricky Ray will pull the Argos ahead. Unfortunately Argos keep going backward because of the penalties.

Suddenly there are three team race for two playoff spot in the East. I am hoping all 3 of them keeps on winning and goes ahead of the 4th place team in the West to avoid crossover.

not sure where this belongs, but saw the 30 for 30 on Doug Flutie... very cool. Larry Ryckman sure comes across as a tool, not surprising i guess

Well it would be nice if Saskatchewan could keep it competitive this afternoon, but I don't really see that happening. Too many holes in the lineup that need to be plugged too late in the season

Kerry Joseph is who everyone thought he would be. Guy is in great shape, still has a strong arm, but showing rust and age. He's not the answer, but the first half was sort of promising. I do think it is nice to have someone who won't get sacked anytime someone sneezes in his general direction. Riders D kept them in the game until the 4th Q and then the superior team in the Eskimos grinded out the lead

Its out of their hands now.
BC needs 1 win to clinch a playoff spot, and they play Winnipeg this week.
I would love to see a BC v. Calgary Grey Cup @ Vancouver, but my guess is that SSK will take 4th in the west and lose badly in the East Semi.

I don't really know how good/bad DL Michael Sam is. All I know about him was he admitted he is gay publicly. Dallas Cowboys just released him and it makes me wonder if any team from the CFL will go after him. Like I said I never seen him play ever and I never really heard of him until that announcement. Does anyone know if this guy is talented enough to play in the CFL? If so, which CFL team (if ever) go after him?

He certainly might be good enough for the CFL. Some of his attributes that hurt his NFL stock are less likely to be an issue for the CFL. It sounded like he was typically seen as fitting best as a linebacker in the NFL because he's a little undersized at DE (but he's a bit slow for a LB), but he might work as a defensive end in the CFL. Combined with the fact that his best skill set, pass-rushing, is a more valuable skill in the pass-heavy CFL, compared to NFL.

I missed pretty much the entire game between Montreal and Ottawa. Watching 4th quarter now and Ottawa have Danny O'Brien as their QB. What happenned to Hank?

What a joke! It was ruled fumble by Brandon London so it was an automatic review. On the review, they decided it was down by contact so Rick Campbell challenged the call and lost. I have no idea why Campbell challenged a review but his beef had a point. Watching the replay a few times, Ottawa player clearly showed Ottawa player stripped the ball from London before his left knee touches the ground. Not sure what replay the command centre was watching but they definitely blew this call. It should be ruled FUMBLE.

Though Rod Black, in his usual over dramatic fashion, and his never ending eternal quest to make his broadcasts something much much bigger than it is, combined with his fetish for throwing out one liners, hoping one that one poignant, impactful soundbyte will stick and will be played over and over, called it "Maybe the most important game ever played in the CFL".

#77 from Toronto is blew a couple of chances for Argos to score with penalties. First, he had an illegal procedure on 52 yards field goal attempt. Instead of kicking the FG, Argos had to punt. The punt actually turned out well as they stopped Banks on a one-yard line. Next play with Hamilton on a one yard line, #77 went offside. Now Hamilton is about to score a TD. They are on the red zone after starting on a one yard line. 15-14 Toronto. Well make that 21-15 Hamilton as Collaros just threw a TD pass to Brandon Banks.

So disappointed in Glen Suitor today. He only mentioned Manny Arcenaux's name 3 times in the first quarter. Why Suitor? Why?
On the other hand, both him and Cutthbert just couldn't stop talking about Solomon Elimimiam.

Drew Willy is so slow to throw the ball. No wonder Bombers surrendered 7 sacks so far tonight with over 12 minutes left in the game. Why not let Paris Cotton run the ball on first down? He's been running well all night.
