But, again, the poison on GGG didn't work despite your alleged power. The kill on GGG didn't work despite nothing being able to stop it. Why do we think this third Eternals power has a chance?

Looking back Squiggs96 seemed to reveal pretty easily about his power, the vote was something like 8-3 in favour of hmmhmmcamo, and it gave him an excuse to target our doctor. On night 2 Delgar was killed likely protecting ECF. Squiggs96 target ECF that night. Squiggs96's power gave him an excuse, if not duty, to target our doctor that night so if someone were to track him they wouldn't be suspicious that he chose to go for ECF.

ECF has supported me, which I like, although it hasn't been a popular decision. Pika is suspicious of the only person that supports chu.

Chu read that we are being lead around and played like a fiddle. Instead of going after the inactives, maybe we should look at the over actives. Their defence will likely be that they are actively hunting scum. They might be, but it hasn't brought us any closer to finding mafia, and pika has only witnessed town deaths.
|
Twice he suggests ECF was lying because the power didn't go through, but I don't think he actually voted for East Coast Flame. He also tried to steer the conversation around from the most quiet (Aeneas and himself) and wants to go for most vocal. GGG (Town), Starseed (Probably town), myself (I know I'm town, don't know if Mazrim would be such a jerk to design a game that has the cop and investigator as scum, but to the rest of you I'm undecided).
Today he quickly points out that there is scum in the Guardians (GGG (Town), Rathji (probably town), Starseed (probably town), Timbo (probably town)) and wants to bring up the cult discussion, again. Also suggests that Drury18 (likely town) may have been mafia in saving Timbo.
Think he started the day with the last ditch effort of getting us to target someone other than the 4 unknowns, who I'm thinking are our 4 mafia members (if we have multiple mafia members...) and when that didn't work he had to jump on board and vote for an unknown to look like a townie.

Are you blaming me for their power not working? There are so many twists and turns in this game, that maybe certain powers will work or be redirected if they are used. Pika thought it was worth a shot.

I did reveal easily, as I thought it would help the town. I tried asking vague questions on what would happen if a power was used during the same night the person was targeted for a mafia kill, and others ones along this line to see if I could quietly use it in the background. When Pika did this he was mocked for being stupid or his questions were ignored. Since I wanted to ensure my power was used for the good of the town, I revealed to get some better answers. I literally couldn't care less if someone tracked me or not, as I've revealed what I've done. I used it to help you on night four, of which you've never brought it up. Pika didn't need an excuse to use his power, and using the word target seems to taint what it does. Just because I was suspicious of ECF's power not working, doesn't mean I was 100% sure he was lying. It was frustrating that it didn't work, and others in the game have been surprised when things have happened certain ways. How you are blaming Pika for being suspicious that ECF's power didn't go through is weird dude.

Voting off the least active hadn't been working, as every one had turned up town. Since everything we had been doing had been wrong, why not try the opposite? Pika read the post that said we are being lead around like fools. The leaders would be the ones in front, or in other words, the ones with the most posts. I don't see how you would be confused with this. I didn't steer the vote for ECF, as I had no support at the time, so who would have followed me. Pika knows he is town, so why would he try bringing the heat on himself at that situation if the vote can go to someone else who has a chance to be mafia?

So when I don't post as much as you'd like, I'm inactive, and then when I am home and make sure I'm available for the start of day 7, I'm quickly pointing out and trying to distract? Is there a schedule or timing that you can provide me that would show the optimum number of posts and what they should contain? Pika shakes his head.
The only new information we had once we were allowed to start posting again was that wood was dead and there was a new message on the board. Why wouldn't we talk about the message? Pika didn't post the message saying there was scum, he simply posted what was written and discussed it. You seem to forget that I also mentioned all the people I talked about had decent stories on why they are town. I brought up Drury's play to talk about. Pika didn't say he was mafia, but wanted to have the discussion. I'm not deflecting, I'm bringing up questions I have. There are a few people left in the game that wanted to see that lynch happen, and GGG even voted (since unvoted) for Timbo during day 7.

Pika didn't do a last ditch effort. He simply brought up some observations at the beginning of the day. I mentioned before I logged off last night that I wasn't sure who I'd vote for. Pika woke up, and thought that Girly is the best target at the time, and was the first vote on her. Since then, two other votes have gone to her. If I was trying to steer away from what you classify as unknowns, I'd have voted for someone else. Pika's vote isn't to look like a townie; it's to vote for who I think gives us the best chance at lynching a mafia member.

Just caught up reading. As mentioned previously Thursday evening/Friday is the worst time for me. Hopefully I can put some time into connecting some dots tonight.
Until then, dissentower went off the rails accusing me of being town last night with ultra thin reasoning. The most likely explanation for this is that he is mafia, and i dont buy his whole line of "there are no confirmed townies". At this point in the game, there are some people we just need to assume are town. If we dont do this, we automatically lose.
At a later date, we do need to examine from among that group, but for right now we have to make certain assumptions.
vote:dissentower
Others on my list are GS, Aeneas and Squiggs. Timbo is unlikely, as his hider power is pretty much town from the little bit I read about it. There are some differences though, which could indicate a potential use as mafia.

No. I'm not blaming you for the powers not working. We knew the Eternal powers don't work. GGG has confirmed it twice. So what was the point of using your power on a power we knew wouldn't work?
How many times do we need to test if something works? Why do we always have to take invites and are surprised when things don't go as planned...Pretty much the only thing we know for certain from these groups was Eternal powers didn't work because we saw it first hand with the GGG kill that did nothing. GGG is confirmed town, if he isn't we lost anyways, so we have to assume he told the truth. Why did you need to use your power on Puxluut who's normal power is telling us who killed at night (hint: it's always going to be Darkness).

You sort of seemed to suggest very heavily that one of the Guardians was mafia.

They all have decent stories on why they are town. GGG is unlynchable, and thus I don't see this being a mafia role in any way. Pika knows that starseed is MOT #1, and likely a mason with Puxlut, but now they are on opposite sides of Guardians and Eternals. I'd really like to hear more about that. Rathji tried killing formulate and we'd have the answer on Timbo if Drury hadn't used the power to stop the lynch.
Pika's now wondering if the Drury stopping Timbo's lynch was a mafia play, very well disguised as a town play. If not, I'd lean towards starseed, based on what I thought very early in the game.

Girlysports, you, Aeneas or diss. I'm not too concerned with which one but I think this is a case of mafia sacrificing mafia as they are backed into the corner.
Unvote
Vote: Girlysports
Hard enough to post on mobile so I can't go through all your post but those were my main points.

I still think out of my most suspicious players she tops my list. I am also weary of Squiggs, and Rathji. I still think eliminating a night is more beneficial to scum than to the town. There is no benefit to skipping the day as we saw but eliminating all town night actions? Sounds scummy to me. Not entirely sure though so I will go with GS again.

You're not making any sense. Eliminating a night and that being scummy has nothing to do with me.
I follow Rathji's logic on you. Going after Rathji who has a town power, and having 2 powers that could be seen as mafia friendly cause it will skew the voting. Also suddenly has a doctor power, from Mazrim? How is that possible?

If we follow your reasoning we will amost certainly lose. We should be weary of everyone. This was a good post though, you list your scum buddies that everyone has narrowed downso you look town but then throw the spotlight on me because I sniffed you out. How does skipping a night benefit the town? You already knew what would happen. It is a scum power so the towm can't do any night actions, that is what makes the most sense.

Go ahead, explain to me how Rathji's power would be more beneficial to the town than the scum? His power lets him eliminate a night, thus giving nobody in the town to do night actions. No investigations, no protections, nada.

How can it not be, it takes a night action away, mafia can't kill. We lynched nobody on Day 5 and taking the night away saved us cause we got a do-over on Day 6 Also, if we had lynched mafia on Day 5 and then rathji used it, that would be a huge blow for the mafia.
I can't see anyway it's a scum power, can anyone?
You on the other hand have powers that can manipulate voting. That is way more of a scum power than Rathji's.

I forgot, if the SK were still alive, it could potentially be a non-existant night without two kills.

Great, we did a re-do on an unlynchable guy. One less night kill vs cause more confusion with no nightime actions and a chance to really hide a scum member into the town. Think of it this way, say we had lynched someone and it was a town member, then blam no night action, no investigations, now we are more confused and have no leads. The scum don't need the night kill, we are doing quite fine killing off ourselves. Could it be a town power? I suppose but it could just as easily be a scum power. It could work in favour either way. Even at that suspicion it is still not a sure thing, I was wrong about Matt, I could very well be wrong about Rathji. The only certainty is I am not wrong about you, thus why despite all that rambling you again got my vote. And when you go down and flip scum at least it will be a start.

It's not Rathji's fault we redid an unlynchable guy. We all decided that.
Of course scum needs a night kill, no matter how bad we are doing. The night is for mafia to act. During the day they just blend in.
What town actions can be done at night? Investigations? Ok I'll give you that, town loses a day to investigate. But protection and redirection? Those are useful only if there is a kill. If there's no night, those powers are obsolete.
Think about it everyone. Diss has power to manipulate the vote, if our numbers are small and he attaches votes to us and gets mafia to vote along, we lose. That's more of a scum ability. That's much more dangerous than me.

Fail. Why would I disclose my powers if I was going to use them to manipulate votes? I would claim no powers at all or something else like being the cop. That is much more dangerous than you who won't disclose anything about what you can do right? Your numbers up GS, you can squirm all you want but your going down.

On another note, assuming the town does not have an epic screw up and lynch me, who should I protect with this doctor power? Hey, if we trust Timbo and his bucket he could bucket me to be sure I am being truthful during the night.

Because everyone has disclosed powers except me. It makes you look good. At this point everyone's going to disclose powers and there will still be a number of mafia, who will you believe then.
So here it is. I've been holding back since the beginning because my role is the most useless role in the game but important to the town. If Timbo thought his bucket was lame, wait til he hears this.
I am the Princess role. Due to the beloved character of Yoshi and his loyalty to the town. If I die, the town mourns and loses a day and it goes straight to night again.
I've been tip-toeing around as much as possible with no abilities. If anyone has followed me they have found nothing. Timbo bucketed me, nothing. I have not left Yoshi's house on any night. I have no actions.
It's been a very challenging role as I have had to dissect everything and listen to everyone.

I see benefits to both sides. It also eliminates night actions right? I don't know, am I barking up the wrong tree in thinking that is a big deal? Like we have hit no scum at all yet so what is the big deal if they lose one night kill and cause a bunch of confusion? Am I reaching on this or reading into it too much?
