But at least it's a good head start on other teams. They now have to make good on their games in hand to catch us.

Don't know if this has been mentioned but the first goal has been credited to Wideman.

True, but The stat that jumps out the most for me is goal differential. Defensively, they have played very well so far.

Wides is on a nice roll right now too. Liking his game much more in the past four games.

If we have a shot at the playoffs it will come down to the series with Minnesota, Dallas and Nashville. 4 teams will be fighting over 1 spot, 5 if Colorado gets it together.

Wideman makes it so hard to hate on him.

If somehow Calgary makes the playoffs, and Colorado does not I'm sorry, gonna have to chuckle at Iginla's luck.

We need to build ourselves as big a statistical cushion as we can. Lulls in play are bound to come, and probably in the next couple weeks, so I hope we take advantage of the rest of this home stand and finish out 3-0. So that when we do hit the skids for a few games it won't all but eliminate us from the race.

Pretty good, creating offense along the boards, made some nice defensive plays. He was noticeable, almost got a breakaway in the third period. Still seems like Hartley is easing him in.

Yup but if he stayed we wouldn't be anywhere near where we are now. I think a few will be chuckling!

I'm just glad the Flames stopped mailing in games vs non playoff teams. I hope they get in for at least 4 games of postseason as well.
