It was all in good fun really. Loved how they Hrudey wouldn't say it and they were joking about it.

It definitely would. Still early though.
Why stop when there's one game left in the season? Why not project it out for the full 82 games? That will give Calgary an even 100 points.

Hope this game is a wake up call for the canes and they beat the oilers tomorrow. All these good feelings those oilers fans have right now from winning two games will be undone after losing to a severely injured and very bad canes team.

What I like about Colborne's play right now is that these points aren't gimmies by any stretch. Like that second assist on Monahans goal tonight. Owned the boards on the puck battle and got it out to Hudler. It's just been a whole bunch of that so far this year.

Really really pumped that Colborne is a Flame.

Poor Lindholm must be cursing his rotten luck for getting drafted 5th.

His offseason weight training has made it difficult for other players to knock him off the puck. I like the confidence he is showing.

So far the Flames have played 5 games against teams who are above .500 and 4 against teams below .500.

Our record against winning teams is 2-2-1 with the wins coming against Nashville and Chicago.

Against losing teams we're 3-1-0, with the loss coming against a surprisingly sub-.500 Blues team.

So, basically we've beaten the bad teams and lost to the good teams and had some really, really good goaltending.

DO NOT ever separate Monahan and Colborne again. Please.

Also that Stajan Glencross line was doing some fine work out there. It's going to be a tough upcoming stretch but I'm confident we can go .500, or perhaps 4-3-1 or something like that. Which is fine because it would keep us right on the playoff bubble. I think we split the home and homes with the Caps and Habs.

The Flames are on pace for 100 points at the moment. I figure this team will be back in the playoffs before Edmonton but it would be absolutely hilarious if it happened so soon. Especially since Carolina and buffalo are a lock for drafting 1 and 2. Even Edmonton can beat this team

Well there are two ways to look at the standings right not.

Cup 3/4 full. We are 4th in the league in point great start, playoffs or bust.

Cup 1/4 full. the are 14th in the league, 8th in the west in points earned per game. And once they have the face their heavily weighted California gauntlet there is a good chance they will fall back a bit.

Not quite the season story we were expecting, but Hartley is sure looking like the best hockey move Feaster has ever made.

I sure hope he does get better.

He went 16th overall in his draft year. He is using his size much better since coming to Calgary.

Started off shaky but once they clicked on the first goal the Flames just gained momentum. You had a feeling that if Monahan scored he was going get another.
I thought it was key for the team that the top line got going and hopefully it will continue.
Hiller didn't have to do much but he earned this shut out simply from the past games.
If he doesn't make that big save early and CAR goes 1 up eho knows how this game would have played out.
Full marks for the all 4 lines and Hiller for tonights win.

Seriously, I would much rather the Flames try and build a good team through effort than play like that pile of garbage called the Carolina Hurricanes. I don't think that team we played tonight could beat an ECHL team. The teams opposing the Addy Flames were better than that.

If he can play like he has so far the whole year that would be unbelievable. Get better? If he does he'll be top 10 in the league for points.
