Not if you've paid them.

I think you have to wait 2-3 years or something like that?
My advice? switch insurance companies..you can always get a better rate from my experience

They won't affect your insurance after 3 years.
I agree with Since1984...Get some quotes from other companies and make the switch

I heard they linger for 7 years or so. Short of hacking into the registry computers I don't think there's anything you can do.

take a "defensive driving course" (pretty much like going to those 2 classroom days of your driving school) and then pass the written test. They will then give you this piece of paper that you can bring to the registry that removes 3 or so demerits off your record.

As far as the question posed by the OP, this doesn't do a thing insurance wise. It only gives you a bigger buffer to having your licence suspended.
Insurers only care if you were charged or not, not how many demerits you have left.
There is nothing you can do to have a ticket removed from your record once you have been charged.
Tickets stay on your record for 3 years only. Claims can stay for a long as 6.
I'm assuming your policy is with Intact? They are one of the few that start dinging you after 1 minor ticket. Most others will let 1 or 2 slide before they increase rates.

The other thing you can do is fight your tickets. And while they won't get rid of all the points like they used to with you pleading to the photo radar version you can plead them down to a plain going over the speed limit which is like 2 points instead of the the speeding at X rate which is usually 3.

What's a minor ticket?
I got one for 30 over, and one for driving while using a cell phone (running my GPS!)
I'm assuming those aren't minor

There are 3 levels of tickets as far as I know. Minor, Major and criminal. Pretty sure you over 30 is still minor. Anything more serious is a mandatory court appearance I think. Cell phone one is very much minor.

It sounds like he's already paid them, because they're on his abstract that the insurance company pulled. Tickets don't show up until they become convictions iirc.
He can't fight them or appeal them at this point, and I don't think there are pardons for speeding tickets.
However two speeding tickets leading to a 75 dollar per month bump sound significant.

I dunno..?
My insurance got reduced after I took the course. Guess it could be insurance company differences

State Farm, and these tickets couldn't have been anything major. In fact, I don't even remember getting them. I just got an email from my insurance agent stating that they showed up upon my renewal, and my rates are going up accordingly.
Disclaimer: I renewed my plates in July and had to pay a bunch of tickets at the time in order to do so. I usually have a few photo radar tickets and downtown parking tickets though (I always renew for two years), so I didn't look at them and didn't even ask for a copy of the details. From what I understand, by blindly paying these tickets at the DMV, I've opened the door for getting hammered on the insurance side.

Not to be rude, but my sympathy level for people who get caught speeding then complain about how they now have to pay more in insurance fees and want to find a way out of it is pretty darn low.
