I wish they'd just decline to take questions. They can't answer anyway, and the refusals just hint at things they shouldn't hint at.
Finally getting some use out of those French classes though...

Parliament Hill reporter Cormac MacSweeney was on the phone with his editor, talking about possible assignments, when the shooting started at Parliament Hill. He then turned on his recorder. Afterwards, he was moved into lockdown.

Yes. Somebody asked if the dead shooter was a Canadian citizen. The official refused to answer.

I think that was heard from Senator George Baker supposedly his staffers got a look at the shooter and he was wearing a scarf with Islamic symbols. But that hasn't been confirmed by anyone.
