frankly I dont know what to call it, I dont know details. For all i know it could be a disgruntled farmer with a shot gun pissed at the government for something.
re PM being evacuated - that would be standard procedure if any shot was fired on the hill.
It seems as though more is going on since my original statement.
I dont know what is happening, maybe I am naive but I just didnt feel the need to paint the situation as terrorist at the time based on the info I had while only reading this thread.
A farmer trying to strike terror? O my, thats a fn terrorist attack.
I couldn't really tell what I was hearing in that video because there is so much noise but if they had a C7, which is standard issue for our military, those can fire over 700 rounds a minute.
The quicker shots almost sound like either a C-7 but the echo effects could be distorting the sound of a smaller weapon on automatic like a Mp-5?
The louder shots sounds like something else entirely.
You usually don't hear that kind of automatic fire from solders, usually they are pretty disciplined in rate of fire, and automatic is just a waste of ammo, plus it pretty much makes you stick your head out for too long.

The beauty and I hate to use the word. of the incident in Quebec is it will show every nut job out there with a grievance the road map to a successful attack if your willing to pretty much die in the process.
To me, I'm waiting for more information, but as I've said before, taking these people alive to find out who's pulling the string is almost irrelevant. This could be the age of the uncontrollable terrorist. Angry people not linked to any group, but inspired by a map of terror (ISIS telling people to run over their enemies with their car).
If there's no large cells to infiltrate, no money and no communications to track, these kind of things will come out of nowhere with little to no warning.
Do you want to know who's pulling the string. The people running around pumping minds full of venom and poison and setting them loose here or abroad. But these recruiters aren't setting up terror cells at all. They're setting up little trip mines with no mandate.
Do you seriously believe that ISIS is the first of its kind, or that this concept has never been thought up before? How are ISIS any different than the anti-government, conspiracy nutters that spew out the same type of venom?
Don't know what to say. Very sad day for our country. Hopefully they catch all the garbage responsible for this quickly, and no more lives are at risk.

Given the recent events in Quebec, it's super easy to jump to a "terrorist" conclusions, but the fact is, it's still way too early to assume anything.
Fair enough. As news continue to flow in though (multiple shooters etc), it seems pretty hard to describe it as anything other that a terrorist act. What type of terrorist attack (domestic, Islamic fundamentalist, etc) will take days / weeks to be determined.
